About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, and Planning (WILP) to lead Humanoid’s global WILP function, optimising our rapidly growing operations across London, Boston, and Vancouver.


Your Mission

To create the world’s leading, commercially scalable, safe, and advanced humanoid robots that seamlessly integrate into daily life and amplify human capacity.


What You’ll Do

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the Supply Chain and Logistics strategy, aligned with company objectives.
  • Build the operating model, governance, KPIs, and cadence for warehouse, inventory, logistics, and planning.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of WILP managers, fostering a continuous learning culture.
  • Support regional teams and set OKRs, KPIs, and performance expectations.
  • Instil a high-performance, collaborative, and data-driven culture with clear decision-making.
  • Serve as confident communicator with customers and executives; balance priorities under pressure.
  • Act as deputy Global Head of Supply Chain & Logistics when needed.

Planning & Order Fulfilment

  • Develop rigorous scheduling processes for make-to-order, assemble-to-order, and configure-to-order flows.
  • Lead daily/weekly tier meetings to resolve shortages and bottlenecks with clear root-cause analysis.
  • Manage Available-To-Promise and Capable-To-Promise capabilities, including project slotting.
  • Ensure export compliance, accurate documentation, and seamless handover to carriers and customs.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Optimise inventory management processes and warehouse operations.
  • Oversight of inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Monitor and manage stock to avoid overstock or shortages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Lead global WILP teams, drive operational excellence, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Logistics & Supplier/Customer Focus

  • Define the global distribution network for scale—central DCs, regional hubs, and cross-docking.
  • Select, monitor, and manage 3PLs, carriers, and freight forwarders with strict SLAs.
  • Implement transportation management and route optimisation to protect OTIF (on-time delivery, in-full) and reduce costs.
  • Expertise in Incoterms and global trade compliance.
  • Develop fulfilment playbooks for panel builders and integrators.
  • Track milestones transparently to provide customers with accurate ETAs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct experience in Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics & Planning, preferably in manufacturing, robotics, technology, aero/defence, automotive, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record building/scaling WILP functions with multiregional oversight.
  • Degree in Business, International Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields (CIPS Level 5/MCIPS or APICS CPIM preferred).
  • Hands-on ERP expertise (SAP S4HANA), APS, WMS, TMS systems, and tools like Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of export controls (EAR), negotiation frameworks, and commercial contract law.
  • Expertise in project-based, engineer-to-order workflows.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and database management tools.
