Senior Manager - Associate Director - US Change & Technology

Location: Manchester HQ
Opportunity: Leadership & Directorship Pathway | US Market

At Oliver James, we're continuing to invest heavily into our US Change & Technology division and are looking for an experienced recruitment leader ready to take the next step towards Directorship.

This isn't a role where you'll spend years waiting for someone above you to move on. It's an opportunity to join a business that is actively growing its US footprint and looking for future leaders to help shape that growth.

You'll inherit an established platform, work alongside high-performing teams across the UK and US, and play a key role in scaling one of the most lucrative recruitment markets globally.

Why this opportunity?

Build Towards Directorship

We're looking for someone with leadership ambition. Whether you're currently an Associate Director, Senior Manager, Managing Consultant or Team Lead, this role offers a genuine pathway into Director-level leadership as the business continues to expand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
