What’s the position?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to help deliver reliable player experiences across critical customer journeys including authentication, account management, promotions, rewards, and geolocation. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our sportsbook and casino platforms across web, mobile, API, and backend systems. This role requires strong hands-on testing expertise, an ownership mindset, and demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools to improve QA effectiveness.
What you’ll do
- Participate in all stages of the SDLC to ensure product quality and release readiness
- Review product and technical requirements to develop effective test strategies and coverage
- Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing strategies across web, mobile, API, and backend systems
- Conduct regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing for critical player-facing features
- Identify, document, track, and help troubleshoot defects through resolution
- Assess release risk and provide QA recommendations for complex features and customer journeys
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to identify risks early and improve quality throughout development
- Use tools such as Postman, Swagger, DevTools, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and emulators to validate functionality and investigate issues
- Validate backend integrations and data consistency using SQL queries and debugging tools
- Use AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage, accelerate defect investigation, and increase QA efficiency
- Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers on testing best practices and debugging techniques
- Take ownership of testing strategy and execution for complex features and initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and test coverage

What are we looking for?
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA professional with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience working in fast-paced, complex environments.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing
- Strong experience testing web and mobile applications in complex production environments
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across frontend and backend systems
- Experience with tools such as DevTools, Charles Proxy, Proxyman, and emulators
- Familiarity with databases and ability to write SQL queries for validation and troubleshooting
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI-assisted tools into QA workflows, test design, debugging, or defect analysis
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and take ownership of testing efforts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams

Nice to have
- Experience within sportsbook, casino gaming, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks or scripting languages such as Python
- Experience testing authentication, geolocation, payments, CRM, or account management Flows
