ESCo2, Ltd. is a UK-based Original Equipment/Design Manufacturer (OEM/ODM) specializing in proprietary energy efficiency and environmental sustainability technologies for industrial emissions management. Founded in 2024, the company focuses on cryogenic cooling and AI-driven emissions capture solutions that help industries reduce greenhouse gases such as CO₂ and CH₄. Its flagship ESCo2 Converter (ESC) uses about 50% less energy than conventional systems and avoids harmful refrigerants, offering scalable and cost-effective alternatives for gas processing and cooling. The ESC-THERMA System further extends this technology to efficiently liquefy natural gas, lower reliance on large LNG infrastructure, and reduce flaring. Through its Emissions Mitigation Service (EMS), ESCo2 enables partners to transform emissions into commercially viable reclaimed gases, aligning environmental impact reduction with profitable outcomes.
Role Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the design, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for ESCo2’s cryogenic and emissions capture technologies. This role includes:

- Creating documentation such as work instructions, process maps, and quality standards

The engineer will collaborate closely with:
- Mechanical design
- Industrial engineering
- Operations
- Suppliers
Day-to-day activities involve:
- Process analysis
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Root cause investigations
- Design-for-manufacture reviews
- Support for pilot builds and ramp-up into volume production
The position also contributes to safety and regulatory compliance, supports technology transfer to manufacturing partners, and provides technical leadership to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes, with experience bringing complex hardware products from prototype to production.
- Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles, including workflow optimization, line balancing, and production planning.
- Solid Mechanical Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret CAD models, engineering drawings, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Experience with Machining processes and related fabrication techniques, including CNC operations, fixtures, and tooling selection.
- Proven experience in process development, continuous improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and root cause analysis for manufacturing issues.
- Familiarity with manufacturing for cryogenic systems, pressure vessels, or gas-processing equipment is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with quality management systems, documentation control, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
