Role Overview

Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role? Find out below.

Location: Carmarthen and Holsworthy - regular travel between both sites and other Wynnstay locations as required.

Wynnstay Group is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to join our Feed division as Senior Manufacturing Manager, leading the safe, compliant, efficient and profitable operation of our Feed Mills.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you'll provide visible leadership across both sites, with responsibility for health and safety, compliance, production, people, cost control and overall operational performance. You'll establish consistent standards across the two mills and ensure they deliver the required production plan safely, reliably and to the expected quality, cost and service levels.

Working closely with Commercial, Quality Control, Transport and wider Supply Chain colleagues, you'll coordinate manufacturing output with customer demand and transport requirements, ensuring finished feed is available when needed to support timely deliveries to farms and stores.

You'll also take accountability for site budgets and financial performance, using operational data to manage costs, identify risks and improve productivity. Through disciplined process management, continuous improvement and effective project delivery, you'll strengthen the reliability, resilience and long-term performance of both manufacturing operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
