Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Outside IR35 | £450–£525 per day | Southampton | On-site | 6 months initial contract

About the Opportunity

Looking for your next contract with a global manufacturer?

This opportunity will see you leading the quality and validation of products due to a relocation, manufacturing equipment and production processes, ensuring everything is compliant, audit-ready and successfully transferred into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working alongside engineering, manufacturing and R&D teams, you'll be the quality lead across new product introductions, design transfers, process validation, engineering changes and continuous improvement.
  • You'll influence project teams, manage quality activities throughout the product lifecycle and help deliver robust manufacturing processes within a highly regulated environment.

Required Experience

  • Manufacturing Quality Engineering within a regulated industry
  • Process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • New Product Introduction (NPI), Design Transfer or Product Transfer
  • GMP, FDA and Quality Management Systems (QMS/eQMS)
  • CAPA, NCRs, change control and FMEA/risk assessments
  • Lean, Six Sigma and statistical quality tools (SPC)
