Senior Manufacturing Technician | Witney | Mechanical devices | £40,000pa - £45,000pa plus benefits
MARS Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Manufacturing Technician on behalf of a leading specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. The company has seen fantastic growth over the last five years and due to ongoing demand for their innovative devices, they are looking to recruit several mechanical biased Assembly Technician’s.
The Role:
The Senior Manufacturing Technician will be a highly skilled Mechanically biased Production Technician responsible for the mechanical and electronic assembly, testing and quality inspection of precision flow-control, hydraulic and pressure-regulating valve systems. The role requires you to have strong mechanical assembly skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to engineering drawings, specifications, dimensional tolerances and strict quality standards.
About You:
This Senior Manufacturing Technician position will require someone who is currently in a similar Senior Production or Assembly role, ideally within a mechanical based product range. As a small manufacturing company, the staff who work for this business are proactive, enjoy working with others, accepting of challenging targets and are comfortable adapting to new tasks. The Senior Manufacturing Technician will need to be team orientated but still happy to work individually. The successful candidate will have the following experience:

- Ideally a BTEC, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering with relevant assembly, manufacturing or production experience
- Strong mechanical assembly skills with the ability to assemble complex mechanical components to a high standard.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical specifications and dimensional tolerances.
- Experience working to strict quality standards and following established assembly procedures.
- Previous experience with industrial valves, flow-control equipment, hydraulic systems or other pressure-containing products is highly desirable.
Our Offer:
Our client offers a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000pa plus benefits, which includes a company contributory pension, death in service insurance, 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays.
