Role Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist to join a leading player in the nuclear medicine sector. Based within a cutting-edge facility, this role offers the chance to contribute to the production and quality control of innovative radiopharmaceutical products that improve patient outcomes worldwide.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven individual to support GMP-compliant manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained throughout the process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Senior Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist will be varied, however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Oversee and participate in the production, validation, and QC of PET radiopharmaceuticals to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
- Draft, review, and maintain SOPs, validation protocols, and risk assessments related to manufacturing processes.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated and manual radiochemical synthesis and quality control equipment.
- Ensure aseptic and sterile dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals using isolators and hot cells while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- As the Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist, you will uphold all relevant safety, environmental, and transport regulations for the handling and dispatch of radiopharmaceuticals.

Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a related science field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
- Proven experience in aseptic dispensing or radiopharmacy operations, ideally within a GMP environment.
- Knowledge of ionising radiation regulations, COSHH, and health & safety procedures.
- Good team working skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent time management and communication skills.
- As the Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist, you will demonstrate dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
