About the Role

Joining the Specialty Claims division, you'll work alongside 5 Marine Claims professionals, handling a diverse portfolio of complex, high-value international claims. All claims are handled in-house and the business is a large market leader working across three Consortiums, giving you genuine ownership of claims from notification through to settlement.

Responsibilities

  • You'll manage a broad international portfolio of Marine claims, including cargo, liability, hull, and war, including significant US liability exposures alongside complex war-related claims.
  • You'll join a business where claims are viewed as a strategic function, working closely with underwriting, brokers, and clients to deliver exceptional technical expertise and service.

Requirements

To apply, you must be able to demonstrate marine claims experience across any of the relevant classes and a comfortability to lead on claims and be a strong decision-maker. We're open to candidates from Lloyd's market insurers, London brokers, company market insurers, MGAs, P&I clubs, marine specialist insurers, and qualified solicitors with relevant Marine Claims experience.
