Senior Consultant – Strategic Market Access (SLR focus)
UK | Remote/Hybrid
Shape Market Access Strategy Through Evidence
At OPEN Health, we help pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organisations demonstrate the value of their innovations to payers, HTA bodies, and healthcare decision-makers worldwide.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Strategic Market Access team, with a particular focus on Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs), Targeted Literature Reviews (TLRs), and evidence synthesis projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a market access professional who enjoys combining scientific rigour with strategic thinking, while leading high-impact projects for some of the world's leading healthcare organisations.
As a Senior Consultant, you'll play a key role in project delivery, client engagement, business growth, and team development within a collaborative and highly respected global consultancy.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead High-Impact Evidence Generation Projects
- Lead and oversee systematic literature reviews, targeted literature reviews, and broader evidence synthesis projects
- Provide scientific and methodological guidance to project teams
- Review and quality-check deliverables, ensuring excellence at every stage
Drive Strategic Market Access Solutions
- Support the development of HTA, value communication, pricing, reimbursement, and broader market access strategies
- Contribute to value dossiers, value propositions, payer communication tools, objection handlers, and related deliverables
- Help clients translate evidence into compelling value stories
Inspire and Develop Others
- Mentor and coach consultants and junior team members
- Foster scientific excellence and support professional development across the team
- Share best practices and contribute to a collaborative learning culture

- Lead client interactions and serve as a trusted advisor
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard
Contribute to Business Growth
- Support and lead proposal development and business development activities
- Build lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Contribute to thought leadership, publications, and innovation within the market access space
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Health Economics, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Significant experience leading systematic and targeted literature reviews
- Experience managing evidence synthesis projects, including feasibility assessments
- Demonstrated experience contributing to value communication and market access deliverables
Skills & Attributes
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident leading multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
