Drive change. Shape policy. Improve outcomes across wound-care services.
We are working with a market-leading wound-care organisation to appoint a Senior Market Access professional to lead strategic engagement and drive meaningful change across health systems in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
This is not a traditional sales role. It is an opportunity for someone who understands the clinical, policy and population-health challenges within wound-care and can bring multiple stakeholders together to redesign services, improve patient pathways and demonstrate value at a system level.
You will build and navigate complex, multi-layered stakeholder networks – from Clinical Directors, Medical Directors, Medicines Management and Health Board leads through to Tissue Viability Nurse (TVN) Leads and frontline clinical teams.
The role
You will:
- Develop strong, senior-level relationships across Health Boards and wider healthcare systems.
- Identify opportunities to influence policy, population health and wound-care service provision.
- Lead conversations around value, outcomes and health economics, rather than simply product or sales targets.
- Support clinical stakeholders through change and service transformation, using your understanding of wound-care and clinical pathways.
- Drive service redesign where there is an opportunity to improve patient outcomes, efficiency and use of healthcare resources.
- Develop and manage complex stakeholder maps across clinical, operational, medicines management and strategic decision-makers.
- Engage with senior clinical and healthcare leaders, translating clinical challenges into compelling system-level solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal clinical, market access, commercial and medical teams.
- Represent the organisation at a strategic level, including policy and Government-level lobbying and engagement where appropriate.
- Identify emerging policy and healthcare priorities and translate these into opportunities to influence the future of wound-care services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience across Scotland, Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland is essential.
Why this role?
This is an opportunity to move beyond the traditional commercial model and have a genuine influence on how wound-care services are designed and delivered.
You will be working at the intersection of clinical practice, policy, population health and healthcare transformation, influencing decisions that can have a much wider impact than an individual product or account.
If you are a strategic wound-care professional who enjoys bringing people together, challenging existing pathways and creating the case for better ways of working, this could be an excellent opportunity to make a much broader impact.
