Careers that change lives start here

Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a Mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. Our 95,000 employees work across more than 150 countries to put patients first — developing innovative medical technologies that improve the lives of 72+ million patients each year. Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.

A Day in the Life

Medtronic CRM is committed to advancing innovative therapies that improve outcomes for patients with cardiac rhythm disorders. Aurora EV-ICD™, OmniaSecure™ and Conduction System Pacing (CSP) represent key growth platforms within our UK & Ireland business and have the potential to transform patient pathways and standards of care.

As the Senior Market Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and growth of these innovative therapies across the UK & Ireland. Working closely with Commercial Managers, Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists and the Marketing team, you will develop and execute market development strategies that improve patient access, support healthcare system transformation and deliver sustainable business growth.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. The position will involve regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland to engage with customers, healthcare organisations and Medtronic teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption and market growth of Aurora EV-ICD™, OmniaSecure™ and CSP therapies across the UK & Ireland.
  • Identify barriers to therapy adoption and implement initiatives that accelerate uptake and improve patient access.
  • Analyse and optimise referral pathways for patients eligible for defibrillation and physiologic pacing therapies.
  • Collaborate with NHS stakeholders, Trust leadership and Integrated Care Systems to support service development and pathway transformation.
  • Support national and regional tenders, commercial agreements and value-based healthcare proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical and administrative stakeholders across the healthcare system.
  • Support physician education programmes, workshops, proctorships and peer-to-peer learning initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Clinical, Marketing and Market Access teams to ensure effective execution of strategic priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
