Role Overview
The North Europe SIA function is on a unique growth journey, with a renewed vision focused on delivering deeper and more actionable insights on people/consumers, customers, and markets—both today and tomorrow (foresight). With this new vision, SiA aims to increase its impact and scale up its influence in decision-making by providing relevant insights.
Market Intelligence is a key subsection of the team, with the primary role of identifying the latest performance insights and guiding business partners on how Danone can improve its competitiveness. With access to various data points (household panel data, retail panel data, brand health tracking, and others), it is uniquely positioned to find meaningful data connections that lead to insights enhancing Danone’s business performance.
In this context, we need a leader in this area, to join our team, drive performance insights, and embed them in an effective and actionable way to impact business growth!
Role Details
- Co-ordinate & Deliver Exec level monthly reporting of external market shares across all Danone NE markets, specifically personally responsible for running the UK Consumer category reports.
- Develop and deliver evolution of the above to deliver more efficiently and add more insight beyond data.
- Work with global SIA performance teams to ensure data and reporting globally, regionally and locally is aligned and consistent.
- Be a key member of a project team looking to deliver an AI driven tool that brings together all our continuous data sets into an agent providing self serve on performance diagnostic.
- Be the key day to day contact for continuous data agencies such as Circana, Worldpanel, Kantar.
- Work with global and local teams (including the Category Development team) to co-ordinate and lead Shopper Insight across the total NE region.
- Deliver capability programmes to ensure sales, marketing and finance teams across the region understand and can utilise external data sets correctly and effectively.
- Influence key decision-makers across all levels (cross-category, category, and SIA in zones and countries) with compelling storytelling and visualizations to drive decisions and actions that impact growth!

About You
- Comfortable managing multiple, large, and complex datasets, with significant knowledge and experience in mining and combining syndicated panels such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, and others.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues within datasets and provide solutions by cleaning and preparing datasets efficiently and effectively.
- Strong experience in data reporting and data visualization tools and tech including PowerBi.
- Demonstrable professional experience working with the above-mentioned datasets, and supporting key stakeholders with actionable performance insights.
- Proven track record in delivering impactful storylines and communicating with key stakeholders.
- Experience in shopper insight projects and their application to strategic business challenges across sales (including in category management with retailers) and marketing.
- Ability to provoke and challenge business partners with fresh thinking and an insights-centric perspective on growth opportunities.
- Ability to simplify complex challenges and turn advanced analyses into actionable insights that demonstrate competitive growth impact.
- Proven experience in building trusted relationships and networks, collaborating both internally and externally, engaging with key stakeholders, breaking silos, and navigating effectively in a matrix organization.
- A growth mindset and passion for fast paced change and innovation to ensure the NE SIA Market Insight team remains at the forefront of developments in this space.

Please note that the salary on offer for this position is between £70,000 - £85,000 + bonus & benefits
