Senior Market Research Analyst – Hybrid (London)

Overview

Guidepoint’s Market Research Team is seeking a Senior Market Research Analyst based in London to:

  • Oversee quantitative client relationships for corporate and financial services clients
  • Design and manage research projects, including questionnaire development and data deliverables
  • Be the first UK-based member of the market research team, supporting Guidepoint’s growth in Europe.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our London office.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Design & Manage Quantitative Research

    • Plan end-to-end quantitative survey research projects, from client discovery to project management, data analysis, and final reporting.
    • Handle both descriptive and advanced techniques, including:
      • Market share analysis
      • Discrete choice analysis
      • Regression analysis
  • Quality Assurance & Review

    • Review client questionnaires and research proposals to ensure adherence to best practices.
    • Perform quality assurance on data and programmed surveys for accuracy.
  • Collaboration & Coordination

    • Work with quantitative survey operational staff (e.g., fieldwork, survey programming, data automation) to ensure projects reach target audiences on time and at high quality.

  • Client-Facing Partnership
    • Serve as a proposal development and pricing adviser for sales teams.
    • Act as the spokesperson for Guidepoint’s market research capabilities to clients and prospects.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years managing end-to-end quantitative survey research projects, covering:

    • Project design
    • Questionnaire writing
    • Fieldwork management
    • Data processing & analysis
    • Reporting & presentation development
  • Proven Expertise In:

    • Standardised market research (e.g., brand tracking, concept/content testing, pricing research, market sizing)
    • B2B surveying, with preferred experience in medical or biopharma sectors
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Microsoft Suite mastery (Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Must-have: Expertise in DisplayR (preferred) or alternatives like Dimensions, SPSS, Stata, or Q.
    • Bonus: Experience with survey programming platforms (Qualtrics, Forrester/Forsta).
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Ability to translate findings for non-technical stakeholders while accommodating their needs.
    • Collaborative mindset to work with internal teams (programming, fieldwork, recruitment) under tight deadlines.
