Our Clients and Marketing team are looking for an experienced Marketing Advisor to join the team.

We’re building a professional Clients & Marketing Function for the long term. The Marketing function at Baringa was set up in 2021, and the close-knit team has made real progress to build the marketing infrastructure at Baringa and professionalise our approach to Marketing. In 2025 it was extended and restructured as Clients & Marketing, a broader function extending the remit to enable Baringa to better:

  • Attract with Expertise
  • Nurture enduring relationships
  • Compete to win
  • Understand client needs
  • Negotiate for Value

The Clients & Marketing function acts as an internal agency for internal clients, working closely with partner sponsors and champions across Baringa. We work together to achieve our mutual objectives, including brand development, revenue generation, C-suite and LaG engagement, enhancing our digital presence, and supporting varied strategies aligned with our collective purpose. The role is UK remote, and we’ll cover reasonable travel expenses where face-to-face events or occasional team meetings in the office require attendance.

What you will be doing

  • Work with the E&R Marketing Business Partner to support the execution of E&R marketing plans and deliverables.
  • Play an integral role in delivering marketing strategies that align with sector goals and Baringa’s overall vision for Clients & Marketing, while contributing to the broader business growth ambitions.
  • Partner with E&R teams and the E&R Partner Clients & Marketing Sponsor to align marketing efforts with business priorities, supporting structured and impactful go-to-market strategies.
  • Help design, launch and manage global and regional campaigns to strengthen Baringa’s market positioning, adapting campaigns for local cultural and market needs across the UK, US, Europe and APAC.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling campaign content such as thought leadership, client stories, videos, webinars and events.
  • Apply Baringa’s agreed brand and AI story consistently across E&R work - ensuring content credible and distinct, with support from the E&R Marketing Business Partner.
  • Act as a reliable link between E&R and the wider Clients & Marketing team: route work to the right experts, be clear with stakeholders about what C&M can deliver and by when, and play a full part in shared planning.
  • Support the development and planning of marketing campaigns, putting audience and market insight at the centre of decision-making to drive meaningful outcomes such as revenue growth, client acquisition and increased market share.
  • Help identify Baringa’s unique strengths and differentiators to inform clear objectives, impactful messaging and effective targeting of key audiences and market segments.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the campaigns you are responsible for, from planning and execution to analysis and optimisation, taking a structured approach to ensure quality and results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
