This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in driving growth across one of DWF's Global Market Groups (Energy & Climate) and a portfolio of Global Key Clients. Working closely with senior leaders, Client Relationship Partners and colleagues across the business, you will shape and deliver strategic business development and marketing initiatives that support our global growth ambitions.

The role offers significant exposure across the business and requires someone who can build strong relationships, connect people and opportunities, and deliver commercially focused marketing and BD activity on an international scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the business development and marketing strategy for a Global Market Group, supporting growth objectives.
  • Partner with Market Group Leaders, Client Relationship Partners and stakeholders across the business to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Lead the development of client-focused, multi-jurisdictional campaigns that raise market profile and generate business opportunities.
  • Support and drive growth plans for a portfolio of Global Key Clients, acting in an Account Manager capacity where required.
  • Represent DWF at external events and build strong relationships with clients and market contacts.
  • Manage Market Group budgets and support business planning activities.
  • Work closely with Brand, Communications and Digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on activity, outcomes and ROI.
  • Contribute to wider Marketing & Business Development projects and initiatives.
  • Manage and develop team members where appropriate.

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  • Proven experience developing and delivering successful business development strategies.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering B2B marketing campaigns that drive commercial results.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong client focus with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrable project management experience, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, with a strong understanding of business drivers and client needs.
  • Proactive, collaborative and able to build relationships across teams, practices and geographies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within a professional services environment.
  • Experience working in a global or international business.
  • Experience supporting strategic client account programmes or key client growth initiatives.
  • Experience within a relevant sector or market.
  • Previous people management experience.
