The Biscuit Factory
The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest, independent commercial art and craft gallery, visitor attraction and event space, with on-site café and programme of creative workshops. We’re a 7-day-a-week business that requires a versatile and enthusiastic attitude to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, delivering them on time, on budget and to a consistently high standard.
Working under the Strategy and Comms Manager and General Manager, this role exists to oversee and deliver day to day marketing activities across all departments. The role will focus on delivery of regular marketing activities across all platforms, leading integrated campaigns that reflect seasonal changes to exhibitions, alongside core messaging to encourage footfall and online traffic.
Whilst an existing marketing framework exists, this role also provides for contribution to marketing campaign strategy on a season-by-season basis, with the opportunity to try different approaches depending on the department, service or art collection you’re working with.
As a Senior Co-ordinator, you’ll have overall responsibility for delivering the required marketing output, including content generated by the Marketing Coordinator, so good interpersonal skills or supervisory experience are essential.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of two years’ experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns, ideally in a multi-departmental or multi-site environment
- Broad marketing experience, encompassing a combination of digital, paid, print, PR/media/influencer, SEO
- A genuine interest in art and design, with an understanding and appreciation of the skills, time and processes involved in arts and associated industries
- Visual literacy and sophisticated approach to presenting content that aligns with brand styles, even if the subject matter does not
- Commercial acumen and demonstrable understanding of how marketing integrates with revenue generation
- Exceptionally organised, with an ability to align output with business priorities
- A confident communicator who will be able to liaise with colleagues at all levels throughout the business
- Design proficiency for in-house production of print materials and online assets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
