Team: Client Development – Strategic Communications

Location: Bristol or surrounding area (Hybrid)

Working Pattern: Full-time

Why this role matters: Effective communication is central to how we engage our people, support our clients and showcase our expertise. This role has primary responsibility for supporting Enable Law, our specialist practice focused on medical negligence, personal injury and mental capacity matters, while also contributing to communications and marketing activity across the wider Foot Anstey Group. You'll play a key role in delivering compelling communications that enhance our reputation in the market, build meaningful connections with clients and strengthen colleague engagement, making this an ideal role for a passionate and creative communicator.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll:

  • Enable Law marketing and communications: Deliver internal and external marketing and communications activity for Enable Law, working closely with the dedicated Enable Law Business Development Manager, helping to strengthen brand awareness, showcase expertise and connect with current and prospective clients.
  • Content creation: Create compelling and audience-focused content across a range of channels, including internal communications, web content, newsletters, thought leadership, client communications and marketing materials, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging and aligned to our brand.
  • Campaign delivery: Support the planning, coordination and delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns primarily for Enable Law, with some projects for Foot Anstey, helping to drive engagement, raise awareness and support business objectives.
  • Internal communications: Play a key role in planning and delivering engaging internal communications that inform, connect and inspire colleagues, supporting knowledge sharing, colleague engagement and a strong organisational culture across the Foot Anstey Group.
  • Digital communications & brand assets: Support the development and management of digital content and marketing assets, maintaining brand consistency and quality across all communications channels.
  • Events: Support the planning, promotion and delivery of internal and external events where required, helping to create engaging experiences for colleagues, clients and wider audiences.
  • Collaboration & stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with colleagues, subject matter experts and external partners to develop high-quality communications and marketing activity, ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach across the Foot Anstey Group.
  • Measurement & insights: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications and marketing activity, using data and feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative approach, supporting additional projects and priorities as required to meet the needs of the wider Client Development team.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking an experienced marketing communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and brings:

  • Communication & engagement: An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships, engage stakeholders at all levels, and adapt messages effectively for different audiences across internal and external channels.
  • B2C experience: As this role primarily supports our Enable Law practice, experience of B2C marketing and communication is highly desirable.
  • Content creation & storytelling: A confident writer and storyteller, capable of developing engaging, audience-focused content that brings our brand, culture and expertise to life across a range of communications and marketing channels.
  • Collaboration & relationship building: Confident building relationships with colleagues at all levels, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality communications and marketing activity.
  • Creativity & curiosity: A creative thinker who enjoys generating new ideas, exploring different approaches and finding engaging ways to connect with audiences.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all communications and marketing materials are accurate, consistent and aligned with brand standards.
  • Organisation & project management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects effectively and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness: Solid and proven experience in marketing, communications or business development, ideally with some time spent in a professional services environment, with an understanding of how marketing can support business objectives and client engagement.
  • Data & insights: Comfortable using data, feedback and performance metrics to evaluate activity, identify opportunities and continuously improve results.
  • Positive attitude & teamwork: Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable, with a collaborative approach, a willingness to take ownership and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting the wider team.
