We believe in bold ideas, diverse perspectives, and the drive to transform knowledge into impact. Here, your curiosity fuels progress, your voice shapes innovation, and your ambition helps redefine what’s possible within science and learning. We are a culture that obsesses over impact, challenges, and drives what’s next to power infinite possibilities for our customers, colleagues, and society at large.
About the Role:
We're seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Marketing Director to lead cutting-edge B2B marketing for our corporate markets. You'll develop and execute modern, AI-driven marketing strategies from predictive, intent-based account targeting to always-on demand orchestration to accelerate revenue growth, providing leadership across demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM). You'll work closely with leaders to position Wiley as a market leader in enterprise AI, software solutions, information services, and content platforms.
As Senior Marketing Director, you'll lead demand generation and field marketing strategy and execution, with ABM as a core competency, operating as a true partner to sales leadership and their account teams. You'll build joint go-to-market plans with sales to target must-win accounts, developing highly customized, insight-led propositions and 1:1, 1:few, and cluster marketing programmes for top accounts within key verticals. You'll work closely with the Senior Director, Product Marketing and Customer Insights to ground campaigns in customer insight and competitive intelligence, and lead a high-performing team while championing adoption of AI and next-generation martech. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic, entrepreneurial thinker who thrives on working hand-in-hand with sales to win and grow the accounts that matter most.
How you will make an impact:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for our suite of products for R&D audiences (Applied Research Intelligence, Audience Solutions and Database Solutions), aligned with business objectives and revenue targets
- Lead demand generation programs across digital, events, content, and field marketing channels, using predictive analytics and intent data to identify and prioritise in-market accounts and buying committees
- Partner directly with sales leadership and account teams to jointly target must-win accounts, designing highly customized propositions and dedicated 1:1, 1:few, and cluster marketing programmes for top accounts within key verticals — while balancing demand generation and ABM as complementary strategies
- Partner with the Senior Director, Product Marketing and Customer Insights to translate Voice of Customer findings, positioning, and competitive intelligence into targeted campaigns
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team across multiple disciplines, markets, and geographies, while owning a modern martech stack (CDP, intent data, and AI-powered personalisation and content tools) and driving rigorous pipeline and revenue attribution
- Act as a close, trusted partner to sales - embedding marketing into account planning, territory strategy, and the sales cycle - while collaborating with product, customer success, and other business units

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
