Senior Marketing Director

Mode Search is proud to be partnering with an exciting, fast-growing contemporary luxury accessories brand seeking an accomplished Senior Marketing Director to lead its global brand and marketing strategy.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity within a design-led London business recognised for its distinctive aesthetic, exceptional craftsmanship and modern approach to luxury.

With an increasingly international customer base and ambitious growth plans, the brand is entering an exciting next phase. The Senior Marketing Director will play a central role in shaping its global presence, building brand desirability and delivering commercially effective marketing across key markets.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Founder and senior leadership team, this is a highly influential role with significant ownership across brand, creative, communications and marketing.

The Role

  • Define and evolve the global brand and marketing strategy, ensuring it supports the wider commercial ambitions of the business.
  • Translate the Founder and leadership team's vision into a clear, distinctive and globally relevant brand proposition.
  • Lead integrated 360° marketing strategies and campaigns across international markets.
  • Build long-term brand equity, desirability and cultural relevance while supporting measurable customer and commercial growth.
  • Establish a consistent and elevated brand identity across all customer touchpoints, including digital, e-commerce, retail, wholesale and brand experiences.
  • Set the creative standard across campaigns, photography, content, storytelling and brand communications.
  • Lead PR & Communications, Social, Content, Influencer Marketing, Partnerships and Brand Activations, ensuring all channels work together as part of a cohesive strategy.
  • Develop innovative campaigns and cultural initiatives that strengthen awareness, engagement and customer desirability.
  • Partner closely with E-commerce and Digital teams to ensure brand storytelling and commercial performance are effectively connected.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Retail, Wholesale and Operations to deliver a consistent and elevated customer experience.
  • Use customer insight, market intelligence, cultural trends and commercial data to inform marketing decisions and identify new opportunities.
  • Own and optimise marketing budgets, ensuring investment is strategically allocated and delivers measurable impact.
  • Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks to evaluate campaign effectiveness, brand health and marketing performance.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team across Brand Marketing, Creative, Graphic Design, PR & Communications, Social, Content and Activations.
  • Manage key external agencies, creative partners, influencers, talent and collaborators.
  • Drive international brand growth while protecting the consistency, quality and integrity of the global brand.
  • Champion innovation and the effective use of AI and emerging technologies to enhance creativity, efficiency, insight and marketing performance.

You will bring:

  • Significant senior-level experience across brand and marketing, ideally gained within luxury, premium fashion, accessories, jewellery, beauty or design-led lifestyle.
  • A proven track record of building and developing premium or luxury brands across international markets.
  • Extensive experience creating and delivering integrated global marketing strategies and 360° campaigns.
  • Exceptional creative judgement and a strong understanding of luxury aesthetics, culture, storytelling and brand building.
  • Experience working closely with Founders, Creative Directors and senior leadership teams.
  • Strong expertise across brand strategy, creative, PR, communications, influencer marketing, social, content, partnerships and activations.
  • A strong understanding of digital, e-commerce and the role of marketing throughout the customer journey.
  • Commercial confidence, with experience managing significant marketing budgets and demonstrating effectiveness and ROI.
  • The ability to combine customer insight, data and commercial performance with strong creative instinct.
  • Proven experience building, mentoring and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and senior stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to execution to maintain exceptional standards.
  • A collaborative and inspiring leadership style, with the confidence to challenge thinking and drive positive change.
  • A genuine passion for craftsmanship, creativity, culture and the evolving luxury landscape.
  • An innovative mindset and understanding of how AI and emerging technologies can enhance modern marketing.
