Our client, a highly regarded and growing professional services organisation based in Manchester, is looking for an organised, confident, and proactive Senior Marketing Events Executive to join its Marketing & Business Development team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events professional to take ownership of a varied programme of high-quality client and corporate events designed to strengthen client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and enhance brand awareness.

The successful candidate will combine exceptional organisational skills with creativity, commercial awareness, and the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and external partners.

Responsibilities

The position will broadly be split across three key areas:

  • 60% – Event Management & Delivery
    • Planning, coordinating, and delivering a varied programme of client, prospective client, and professional referrer events, including seminars, webinars, conferences, networking events, roundtables, hospitality, corporate functions, and selected internal events.

  • 20% – Event Marketing & Delegate Management

    • Driving registrations and attendance through targeted communications, effective data management, audience segmentation, and event promotion.
  • 20% – Reporting, Relationships & Development

    • Measuring event performance and ROI, managing external suppliers, and identifying opportunities to develop new event concepts, partnerships, and formats.

Ensure all events and associated marketing activity are consistent with the organisation’s brand, values, and compliance requirements. Provide events expertise and practical support for internal events across the organisation.

We are looking for an organised, confident, and proactive events professional with strong attention to detail and experience delivering high-quality events from concept through to completion.

Ideally, you will have experience within professional services, legal, financial services, or a similar corporate environment, with the ability to manage multiple events and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers.

You will bring:

  • Strong end-to-end event management and project management experience.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with event marketing, delegate management, and CRM systems.
  • Commercial awareness, including event budgets and ROI.
  • Confidence using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • A proactive, creative, and solutions-focused approach.

This could suit an Events Executive ready for the next step or an established Senior Events Executive/Events Manager looking for greater ownership.
