Senior Marketing Executive

Location: Hybrid. Two days in our Moreton-in-Marsh office (Mondays and Tuesdays), three days from home.

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 40 hours a week, 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: From £40,000, depending on experience

Reports to: Business Development

About the role

We're a team of 29 people building the software that UK estate agents actually want to use. We're genuinely obsessed with the people on the other side of the screen, and we'd love for you to join us. You'll find a group of people here who are fanatical about getting things right for our clients, and we're looking for a new teammate who feels the same way.

This is a role we think is pretty special. Instead of just inheriting a pre-set marketing function, you'll have the chance to help us shape it. You will own the day-to-day of Loop's marketing, taking campaigns from a first spark of an idea all the way to a client's inbox, and making sure everything we put out into the world is high-quality and helpful.

We really want someone who brings their own ideas to the table. While our committee sets the overall strategy and brand direction, there is so much room for your creative concepts and initiative. We want to hear your point of view and see you take the lead on making great things happen. If you're ambitious about where we can take our marketing, you'll find a very warm welcome here.

You'll be working hand-in-hand with our client-facing team to make sure we're all pulling in the same direction. Your job is to take our strategy and turn it into work that actually ships, and work that we're all proud of. It's an invitation to come in, find your feet, and help us build something genuinely great.

How we work

Read this part closely, because it shapes the role. We are not looking for someone to write everything from a blank page. We are looking for someone who can direct ideas well and execute to a high standard.

That means three things: briefing well so the first draft is close to what we need; editing to Loop's voice so everything reads confidently as we intend; and holding the quality and accuracy line so nothing goes out that is off-brand, over-claims, or breaks our client communication rules. Good editorial judgement is the single most important skill in this role.

Core responsibilities

  • Directing and editing content

    • Brief, direct and edit content across blogs, emails, web copy, social and case studies.
    • Own the brand voice, quality and factual accuracy on everything we publish, including verifying product claims before they go out.
    • Keep to our client communication rules and sign-off process.
  • Campaign and project delivery

    • Plan and run the marketing calendar, coordinating across our range of departments.
    • Deliver release and feature marketing to a reliable cadence.
    • Keep work moving to deadline without needing to be chased.
  • Email and lifecycle marketing

    • Build and send campaigns in Brevo, including module-branded update emails.
    • Develop nurture and lifecycle programmes for both prospects and existing clients.
    • Grow client communications: onboarding, feature adoption, newsletters and retention.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Acquisition and client marketing

    • Support demand generation alongside Business Development, and help nurture leads towards a demo.
    • Run existing-client marketing next to Client Success, including reviews, referrals and case studies.
    • Source and produce customer stories: interview clients, capture the numbers, turn them into content.
  • Website content

    • Add new content to the loop.software marketing site and keep existing content up to date.
    • Work in our custom CMS, so no coding is required; the site itself is designed and built in-house.
  • Social and channels

    • Run our social presence as a steady programme, namely Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
    • Create promotional product videos and social creative using Claude Design and Canva.
    • Manage inbound enquiries and messages across our social channels, responding or passing them to the right person in the sales team.
    • Support events and industry activity with organisation, collateral and follow-up.
  • Reporting

    • Track campaign performance, read GA4 and dashboards, and report clearly on what worked.
    • Help maintain the reporting the committee relies on.

The person we're looking for

The skills and experience below matter to us, but character matters just as much. This role suits a particular sort of person.

  • You bring ideas and back them, while being just as happy to work within a strategy and brand that are already set. You can hold a view, make your case, and take a considered no without losing heart. What you are not is someone who waits to be told what to do, or who quietly wants to run things their own way.
  • You are happy to take a first draft and make it your own through the edit, rather than needing to write everything from scratch. Taking direction and mucking in across a small team suits you, and working closely with Client Success and Studio, you share your best ideas rather than guard them.
  • You are careful, and you work at pace. Meticulous attention to detail is a must, because our products run in thousands of UK estate agents every day. A polished draft never talks you into publishing something that is not quite true.
  • Estate agents and how they work genuinely interest you, so our marketing can speak to their world and earn their trust. Knowledge of the property industry is a real advantage, and a genuine interest in it is essential.
  • Above all, you run your own week. With three days from home, you set your priorities, keep things moving, and hit your deadlines without being chased.

You must be able to commute to our Moreton-in-Marsh office in the Cotswolds for two days a week.

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Marketing experience. Around five years or more in a marketing role, ideally B2B or SaaS.
  • Ideas and initiative, within a framework. You bring creative concepts and push them forward, and you are equally happy taking direction. The strategy and brand guidelines are set; you welcome them and build on them rather than working around them.
  • Strong editorial judgement. A sharp eye for what makes copy clear, on-brand and accurate, and the confidence to edit robustly.
  • Comfortable directing AI content tools. Or a clear aptitude and willingness to work this way; you enjoy getting the best out of them rather than resisting them.
  • Confident with visual and video tools. Able to produce tidy social, email and promotional video content using Claude Design and Canva, working within our templates and leaning on Studio for heavier design work.
  • Organised campaign delivery. Able to plan, coordinate across teams and hit deadlines without close supervision.
  • Email and marketing automation. Hands-on experience building and sending campaigns; Brevo or similar.
  • Data-informed. Confident reading analytics and reporting on results; no need to configure tracking yourself.
  • Clear communicator in British English. Plain, precise writing free of jargon and marketing clichés.

Desirable

  • B2B or SaaS marketing experience. Ideally selling to businesses rather than consumers.
  • Estate agency or property knowledge. A real advantage.
  • Customer-facing confidence. Comfortable interviewing clients for stories and testimonials.

What we are not asking for

  • You do not need to be a specialist in paid advertising or technical SEO. Those are handled separately by a specialist supplier.
  • You do not need to be a website developer. You will add and edit content on the marketing site using our custom CMS. The site itself is designed and built in-house.
  • You do not need years of copywriting behind you. We value the judgement to edit well over a large writing portfolio.

What we offer

  • A basic salary from £40,000, depending on experience. Sometimes, though, the right person is more or less experienced than we expected, and in that case we're happy to set the range aside. If that might be you, apply anyway and just let us know.
  • Hybrid working: two days a week in our Moreton-in-Marsh office, three days from home.
  • 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, rising by a day for each year of service up to five extra days, time off over Christmas, plus a day off for your birthday and a gift.
  • A contributory pension scheme, with automatic enrolment.
  • An Employee Assistance Programme through Health Assured: confidential counselling and practical support, plus the Wisdom AI wellbeing tool.
  • Employee discounts through Bright Exchange.
  • An Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year bonus scheme.

Interview Process

2 stages:

  • Introductory call with our Managing Director
  • Hiring Manager Interview and presentation

We want everyone to interview at their best. If there's anything we can adjust to help you do that, or anything you'd like us to know beforehand, just tell us.

A note on using AI in your job application

We use AI across the business, so we've no problem with you using it in your application. All we ask is that what reaches us is really you: your own experience, your own thinking and your own voice, rather than something that could have been written by anyone. Treat AI as a tool, but don't let it speak for you.

Please submit your application by the closing date 31st August 2026
