About the role
The Senior Marketing Executive plays a key role within Immediate’s Customer Marketing & Subscriptions team, driving growth and performance across our app portfolio, with a focus on our Food and Entertainment brands. A strategic and commercially minded marketer, you’ll bring expertise in app ecosystems, acquisition, and subscription models to help accelerate the next stage of our app growth journey.
You'll deliver Immediate's App Store optimisation strategy and deliver continuous improvement across acquisition, conversion, and monetisation. Working closely with Product, Tech, Brand, and Data teams, you'll develop and deliver campaigns and initiatives that enhance app visibility, optimise spend and deliver measurable growth.
This cross-functional role sits at the centre of Immediate digital transformation - blending creativity, analytics, and commercial focus to ensure our apps play a vital role in achieving our ambitious subscription goals.
In this role, you will;
- Plan and deliver multi-channel app marketing campaigns to drive digital subscription growth, coordinating activity across multiple channels (e.g. paid social, PPC, ASO, CRM) to ensure campaigns launch on time and in sync.
- Act as the central point of coordination across Product, Tech, Brand, Design, and CRM teams for app marketing - briefing specialists, aligning timelines, and keeping campaigns consistent with our broader digital subscription strategy.
- Brief and collaborate with the design team to produce multi-channel campaign assets to promote the Good Food and Radio Times apps, maintaining brand consistency and tone of voice.
- Contribute to App Store Optimisation (ASO) as part of the broader channel mix, working with specialist ASO support if needed. This includes managing our keyword strategy, metadata testing, in-app event strategy, feature nomination, creative optimisation (icons, screenshots, video assets) and uncovering new market opportunities (e.g. the US and overseas).
- Use AppsFlyer, in-app analytics and internal reporting to track and monitor campaign performance across acquisition and lifecycle journeys, turning data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
- Run structured experimentation across paid acquisition and app store channels to continually improve conversion and visibility.
- Support subscriber LTV and CAC goals, working with the wider team to optimise spend and offer strategy across Apple App Store, Google Play and our own web checkout.
- Build good working knowledge of platform developments (Apple, Google, AppsFlyer) relevant to app marketing, sharing insights with the wider team and becoming the go-to in-house app marketing expert.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
