Senior Marketing Executive
£30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience Westcott Venture Park, between Aylesbury and Bicester
At Green Retreats, we create premium garden rooms that give people space to do more of what they love. From home offices and gyms to creative studios and garden cinemas, our buildings help customers make more of their homes and gardens.
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to help bring those possibilities to life through thoughtful content, inspiring design and effective campaigns. If you enjoy turning ideas into marketing that looks great, reads well and gets results, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll join our marketing team in a hands-on role covering content, design and digital marketing. One day you could be creating a brochure or email campaign; the next, writing website content, developing social ideas or helping launch a new garden room design.
You’ll help customers understand our products, explore the possibilities and feel confident taking their next step with Green Retreats. Alongside the creative work, you’ll use campaign results and customer insights to understand what’s working and where we can improve.
Reporting to the Assistant Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with the wider team, external agencies and brand partners. We’re looking for someone who brings fresh ideas, takes ownership of their work and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion.
What you’ll be doing
- Bringing fresh ideas to our campaigns and content, keeping our marketing clear, engaging and relevant to our customers.
- Writing and publishing content for our website, emails, blogs, social media, press releases and customer case studies.
- Designing brochures, showroom displays, website graphics and social media assets that reflect the Green Retreats brand.
- Helping shape the creative direction of campaigns, from the first idea through to the finished materials.
- Updating website content in WordPress and applying SEO and AEO best practices to help customers engage with us.
- Monitoring campaign performance and using the results to improve engagement and lead generation.
- Keeping our printed and digital materials accurate, consistent and up to date.
- Working with colleagues, agencies and brand partners to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
