Senior Marketing Executive - Diversified UK & Europe: Brighton Office, UK
Full time, permanent, starting asap
Starting from £35,000 pa, depending on experience
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get into event marketing. The role sits within a thriving portfolio of three bi-annual events and an award ceremony. It involves implementing marketing activity including email building, website updates, social media and more. You'll work as part of a collaborative, hard-working and fun team. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of two year's hands-on marketing experience, be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Diversified UK & Europe is part of a highly successful, international exhibition and media group. The head office is in Portland, Maine, USA.
In the UK we organise 18 highly successful trade shows, all of them leaders in their sectors. We publish several market leading trade magazines and produce a range of digital products to support the industries we work in. Over 110 highly motivated and talented people work in the UK team, all focused on creating the best possible exhibiting and visiting experiences for our customers.

What you’ll be doing:
- Building and sending HTML emails via an email system
- Updating webpage content including copy and imagery
- Briefing designers to create and update marketing assets
- Creating social media graphics, posting and scheduling
- Managing relationships with external event partners
- Dealing with enquiries from both exhibitors and visitors
- Coordination of the speaker programme including management of online conference planner, managing communication with speakers, collating content from speakers
- Hands-on support at the events

What We’re Looking For:
We’re not after a perfect CV - we’re after the right person. You’ll probably be:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and creative.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident using marketing IT systems.
- A strong communicator with clear and confident written and verbal communication.
- A strong writer, with excellent copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Someone with minimum two years hands-on marketing experience.
- Someone with a degree in marketing. desirable, not a requirement.
