About the role
This role reports to the Head of Finance - Commerce and requires a commercially focused candidate with excellent communication & organisational skills, to manage the end to end process of delivering effective multi-channel marketing campaigns across Travel, Retail & Finance verticals.
The successful candidate will be the central liaison point between 3rd party clients and the various dmg stakeholders required to brief, create and deliver a wide range of performance marketing campaigns across print, digital and social channels. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone to gain a comprehensive understanding of how direct marketing works within the dynamic environment of the UK’s leading newspaper & news-website group.
Main Responsibilities
- Create, update & implement Multi-Channel Marketing plans with Commerce Team & Partners
- Create, update & implement Partner briefing schedule.
- Work closely with Brand Design team on briefing, amends and sign-off process.
- Ensure full marketing and compliance approval of all assets is recorded before publication.
- Ensure all campaign tracking is implemented accurately (Online & Offline).
- Liaise with Production and CRM teams to ensure all assets are delivered as scheduled.
- Record / log marketing campaigns.
- Work with internal stakeholders & Partners to fully understand performance vs KPI’s
- Work with internal stakeholders & Partners to optimise performance & exceed KPI’

Person Specification
- 2/3 years, relevant experience ideally a Performance Marketing role.
- Strong communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Excellent numeracy & analytical skills
- Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to proof-read and attention to detail
- Excellent Excel / PowerPoint skills
- Good working knowledge of WordPress, Shopify and GA4
