Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Department: Marketing
Working hours: 40 hours p/w Monday - Friday
When Marketing generates a lead, are you curious about what happens next?
Do you want to understand whether it became an SQL, an opportunity and ultimately a customer, and what Marketing could do to improve that journey?
If yes, keep reading.
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive who combines commercial thinking with strong hands-on execution.
Someone who asks:
What customer problem are we solving, what commercial outcome are we trying to influence, and how will we know if it worked?
The opportunity
At Safehinge Primera, our purpose is:
TOGETHER, WE DESIGN FOR GOOD.
We design and deliver innovative products that improve people’s lives in challenging and safety-critical environments, including mental health, healthcare, education and custodial settings.
We’re a growing, product-led business with ambitious plans in the UK and internationally.
You’ll take day-to-day marketing ownership for one of our core business areas, working closely with the Head of Marketing, Commercial and Product teams.
You’ll turn customer needs, commercial priorities, product developments and market insight into marketing activity that supports growth.
This is a thinking and doing role. You’ll understand why we’re doing something, make good decisions and then deliver it to a high standard.
What you’ll own
- Own the marketing plan and activity for a core business area, aligned to customer and commercial priorities.
- Plan and deliver integrated B2B campaigns that generate and nurture high-quality opportunities.
- Use CRM, campaign and performance data to understand what’s working and improve activity.
- Work closely with Commercial to connect marketing activity with sales priorities and customer needs.
- Support new product introductions and launches with Product, Engineering and Commercial.
- Translate technical products and customer pain points into clear propositions, messaging and sales tools.
- Create strong customer-led content and copy across email, digital, social, case studies, thought leadership and sales materials.
- Deliver targeted ABM, digital campaigns, events (digital and live) and exhibitions with clear objectives.
- Use AI and automation appropriately to improve the speed, quality and effectiveness of Marketing.
- Maintain high standards of CRM data, GDPR compliance, accuracy and brand consistency.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What will set you up for success
We don’t expect you to have done every element of the role already. But there are four things that matter to us.
1. Commercial thinking
You understand the entire marketing and sales funnel. You know that Marketing exists to influence customers, opportunities and revenue, not just generate activity. You’re interested in commercial outcomes and use evidence to understand where Marketing can have the greatest impact.
2. Ownership & independent problem-solving
You can take a problem, work out what matters and move it forward, with the right guidance and support available. You ask good questions, use evidence, prioritise and make recommendations rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
3. Customer/product thinking & learning agility
You’re curious enough to get underneath an unfamiliar customer problem or technical product and turn what you learn into clear, credible marketing. You understand the difference between what a product does and why that matters to the customer.
4. Quality, judgement & attention to detail
You care about producing work that is accurate, considered and ready to use. In a technical and safety-critical environment, you’re comfortable questioning something that doesn’t look right and verifying rather than guessing when it comes to facts, claims or commercial information.
