Senior Marketing Executive
Location: Reading, UK (Minimum 3 days/week hybrid; initial 3-month onboarding fully in-office)
Employment Type: Full-Time (Flexible hours considered / Open to returning professionals)
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and commercially minded Senior Marketing Executive to lead our marketing initiatives, drive content strategy, and elevate our brand presence.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind our campaigns: crafting compelling articles, developing case studies, white papers, managing our website, and collaborating with external media companies and internal partners. If you thrive on taking ownership, building engaging campaigns, and bringing fresh, creative ideas to life, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our brand and overall business goals.
- Identify key industry topics, trends, and themes that resonate with our target audience.
- Lead marketing campaigns from concept to execution, keeping the internal team informed through regular marketing catch-ups.
- LinkedIn: Craft high-quality weekly posts, articles, and updates that build brand authority and drive engagement.
- Collateral: Partner with clients, media companies, and internal subject matter experts to produce impactful case studies, whitepapers, graphics and video content.
- Quality Control: Rigorously edit and proofread all written material to ensure flawless tone, accuracy, and clarity.
- Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to refine strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Website Management: Maintain and update the company website to ensure content is current, accurate, SEO-optimised, and visually aligned with active campaigns.

- Collaborate with external partners to build and execute high-impact joint marketing campaigns.
- Manage partner communications, ensuring marketing assets are delivered seamlessly and on schedule.
- Where needed, confidently represent the company at industry conferences and events, engaging directly with prospective and existing customers whilst creating engaging, real-time event content.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven Experience: A track record in content or digital marketing, with a portfolio of successful campaigns that drove clear, measurable results.
- Social & Email Expertise: Deep understanding of LinkedIn strategy alongside experience designing and compiling email marketing campaigns.
- Copywriting: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and a basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Project Management: Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.

Location, Working Pattern & Benefits
- Office & Hybrid Setup: Our office is within The Blade, a five minute walk from Reading station. The role starts with 3 months fully in-office, transitioning to a flexible hybrid model (minimum 3 days/week in the office).
- Flexible Working: We prioritise finding the right person for our team. We are happy to discuss flexible hours or adjusted schedules across a 3- or 5-day week (ideal for parents returning to the workforce).
