Shannon and FBED Labs Brand

Function: Marketing

Level: Senior Manager

Salary: £60,000 base, with a strong OTE to be discussed

About FBED Labs

FBED Labs is building commercial intelligence software for sales teams. We help sellers and leaders understand what is happening inside commercial conversations, what is likely to happen next, and what to do about it. Our products sit across buyer understanding, outreach, sales coaching, pipeline intelligence and customer growth. The company has been built from twelve years of live commercial work, real customer conversations, and products that are now moving from founder-led traction into public launch. We are now hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to help make FBED Labs and Shannon visible, trusted and commercially effective in market.

About the role

This is a full-stack marketing role with ownership of the FBED Labs and Shannon brand, with Shannon as the primary public-facing focus. Your job is to take real product capability, customer proof, founder vision, launches, live demos and commercial outcomes, then turn them into a brand and marketing engine that people understand, trust and want to talk about. This is not a narrow content role. It is not a pure performance role. It is not a brand-only role.

You will work across brand, content, product marketing, social, PR, paid campaigns, landing pages, launch events, internal marketing systems, AI workflows and revenue support.

You will work directly with the CEO, CRO, product and engineering teams. You will also work with agents, Claude, internal models and our own product surfaces to help build the marketing workspace that supports the company as it scales. We are looking for someone ambitious. Someone who wants to build the function, not just join one. The progression path is clear: Marketing Director, then CMO-levelresponsibility as the company grows. That path is earned through ownership, judgment, output and commercial impact.

The mission

Make Shannon and FBED Labs visible, trusted and commercially effective. You will help turn a company with strong product capability and founder-led momentum into a brand that the market can understand, follow, believe in and buy from. Your work should help us:

  • Launch Shannon and related products clearly.
  • Build trust around the FBED Labs parent brand.
  • Create content that explains complex products without flattening them.
  • Generate qualified demand.
  • Support key revenue goals.
  • Build the marketing systems that make output repeatable.
  • Help the company move from hidden strength to public momentum.

What you will own

Shannon brand

You will own the public development of the Shannon brand. This includes:

  • Brand positioning.
  • Product narrative.
  • Voice and tone.
  • Launch messaging.
  • Customer proof.
  • Founder-led content.
  • Product education.
  • Website and landing page messaging.
  • The way Shannon shows up across the market. Shannon needs to feel clear, sharp, credible and exciting. Your job is to help make that happen.

FBED Labs parent brand

You will also support the FBED Labs parent brand. This includes:

  • Company positioning.
  • Proof and credibility assets.
  • Trust-building content.
  • Investor and customer-facing narrative support.
  • Brand consistency across product surfaces.
  • Making sure the parent brand strengthens Shannon rather than confusing the market.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Content and storytelling

You will build and run the content engine. This includes:

  • Founder posts.
  • LinkedIn content.
  • Launch content.
  • Product explainers.
  • Case studies.
  • Customer stories.
  • Sales support assets.
  • Email and newsletter content.
  • Website copy.
  • Long-form thought leadership.
  • Campaign narratives.
  • Event follow-up content. You must be a strong writer. The writing needs to be clear, specific and commercially useful. No fluff. No generic AI language. No vague SaaS noise.

GTM and performance

You will help build and own the marketing side of go-to-market. This includes:

  • Campaign planning.
  • Paid tests.
  • Ad creative testing.
  • Landing pages.
  • Lead magnets.
  • Tracking and attribution.
  • Audience building.
  • Funnel reporting.
  • Conversion improvements.
  • Launch sequences.
  • Partner and event campaigns.
  • Coordination with sales around pipeline goals. You do not need to be a specialist performance marketer only, but you do need to understand how campaigns work, how leads convert, how to read the data, and how to improve what is not working.

Social, PR and distribution

You will help make the company visible. This includes:

  • LinkedIn and founder presence.
  • Product announcements.
  • Launch event promotion.
  • Customer proof distribution.
  • Media and podcast angles.
  • PR opportunities.
  • Community signals.
  • Partner amplification.
  • Turning real company progress into visible market momentum. We are not looking for empty awareness. We are looking for attention that builds trust and supports revenue.

AI-native marketing systems

You will help build the internal marketing system. This is a key part of the role. You will work with Claude, agents, product and engineering to create workflows that help us produce better marketing faster. This may include:

  • Claude workflows.
  • Claude Design workflows.
  • Agent-supported content production.
  • Internal marketing workspace design.
  • Campaign brief systems.
  • Content libraries.
  • Asset libraries.
  • Launch checklists.
  • Reporting flows.
  • Prompt systems.
  • Product-to-marketing translation workflows.
  • Lightweight automation.
  • Better ways to use our own models and tools to support marketing. Experience with Claude is expected. Experience with Claude Code is a major advantage. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be comfortable working with technical people, technical products and AI-assisted workflows.

Revenue support

This role has to support revenue. You will work with the CEO, CRO and sales function to support:

  • Product launches.
  • Pipeline generation.
  • Sales collateral.
  • Case studies.
  • Customer proof.
  • Campaigns.
  • Objection handling assets.
  • Demo follow-up assets.
  • Event follow-up.
  • Conversion improvements.
  • Clearer market education. The work should not just look good. It should help the company sell, launch and grow.

The first 90 days

The first 90 days will be hands-on. You will be expected to:

  • Understand FBED Labs, Shannon, Cascade and the wider product set.
  • Audit the current brand, content, website, social, launch and customer proof assets.
  • Define the first public Shannon brand and content priorities.
  • Build the first version of the Shannon content engine.
  • Support launch events and launch campaigns.
  • Work with the CEO and CRO on priority revenue goals.
  • Work with product and engineering to understand what is being built and how to explain it.
  • Start building the internal marketing workspace with Claude and agents.
  • Improve the way proof, demos, customer stories and product updates are turned into market assets.
  • Set up basic reporting around content, campaigns, conversion and pipeline contribution.
  • Identify what should be systemised, automated, outsourced or hired for later. You will not be waiting for a fully built team. You will be building the early machinery yourself.

You want ownership. You want progression. You want to build the marketing function around a product and brand with serious upside. You are excited by the idea of helping make Shannon known. We need someone who can build the marketing engine, not just run marketing activity.

Why this role matters

This role is about making FBED Labs and Shannon visible, trusted and commercially powerful. Done well, it becomes one of the most important functions in the company.
