Are you a commercially minded senior marketer ready to take ownership of the marketing strategy for a unique and growing lifestyle brand? Do you have the strategic vision, digital expertise and leadership skills to turn ambitious ideas into measurable commercial results? Would you thrive in a hands-on senior role spanning weddings, corporate events, holidays, wellness, wine and visitor attractions?

The Company

ER Recruitment is excited to be partnering exclusively with Belvoir Castle, a unique consumer-facing Visitor Attraction and Lifestyle Brand with an exciting and diverse portfolio spanning own-brand wine, holiday properties, weddings and conferences, wellbeing and retail.

As the business continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Senior Marketing Manager to take the strategic lead across these varied areas.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a high-profile opportunity to shape and drive the marketing strategy across the business, bringing together multiple audiences, products and revenue streams under one clear and compelling brand approach.

You will lead and develop an established marketing team, work closely with senior stakeholders and manage external agencies and suppliers, whilst remaining hands-on and close to the detail.

Role & Responsibilities Of The Senior Marketing Manager

  • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy across Belvoir’s diverse portfolio, aligning activity with business and commercial objectives.
  • Take responsibility for an annual marketing budget of approximately £300,000, with the scope to review and develop this as the business grows.
  • Lead strategic marketing activity across weddings, corporate events, holidays, wellness, wine, retail and the wider visitor attraction.
  • Develop clear marketing plans that generate demand, increase awareness and drive revenue across each area of the business.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance across the visitor attraction marketing activity, working closely with the team already leading this area.
  • Develop and maintain a strong, consistent brand proposition whilst ensuring campaigns are tailored to different audiences and buying journeys.
  • Lead integrated campaigns across digital, social media, CRM, email, PR, content, events and paid activity.
  • Use market insight, customer data and campaign performance to identify opportunities, improve results and inform future strategy.
  • Oversee digital activity including the website, social media and digital marketing, ensuring the right external support and agencies are in place.
  • Manage and develop the existing marketing team, providing clear direction, motivation, support and accountability.
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers and suppliers, ensuring activity is aligned to strategy, delivered effectively and provides value.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Events, Visitor Attraction, F&B, Property and other teams to ensure marketing activity supports commercial priorities.
  • Support the continued development and promotion of Belvoir’s award-winning wine portfolio.
  • Oversee PR activity and identify opportunities to increase Belvoir’s profile, reputation and share of voice.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance, budget and commercial return to the Managing Director.
  • Remain hands-on and involved in delivery, providing strategic leadership whilst ensuring campaigns and activity are effectively executed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
