About the company

An established international B2B events, conferences and digital content business, producing large scale in person and virtual events for senior executives across a broad range of industry sectors. This role sits within a fast growing division running a portfolio of six high value conferences a year. The business is known internally for genuine career development within its marketing function, including international progression, and offers hybrid working from a well connected London office.

Role responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute targeted marketing strategies for a portfolio of high value conferences, marketing both the individual events and the portfolio as a whole to the wider community
  • Build annual marketing partnerships with associations and publications that strengthen the portfolio's reputation and reach
  • Work with speakers and sponsors to secure their buy in to promote events through podcasts, webinars and webcasts
  • Run a full range of digital marketing, including social media, SEO and PPC, nurturing customers up the advocacy ladder with tailored copy
  • Prepare all promotional copy and collateral, and build close working relationships with sponsorship clients and internal teams across production, content and sales
  • Hit agreed revenue and lead generation targets while closely managing the event marketing budget

Candidate background

  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally gained within publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisation
  • A proven track record of managing campaigns across email, social media, media partners, stakeholder engagement, data management and analysis
  • A data driven, commercial mindset with experience managing budgets and delivering ROI
  • Comfortable with digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM and social media
  • A creative, detail focused problem solver who can work independently to tight deadlines
  • Self driven and ambitious to exceed lead and revenue targets, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to travel internationally when required
