Senior Marketing Manager - Brand, Media & Customer

Yorkshire | Hybrid | Up to £67,000 + Car Allowance & Benefits

A leading multichannel retailer is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager - Brand, Media & Customer to take a strategic lead across the marketing activity for one of its key consumer brands.

This is a high-impact role with significant ownership of ATL media strategy, planning, buying and investment, alongside responsibility for integrated brand campaigns, CRM, customer journeys and strategic partnerships. The successful individual will play a key role in ensuring that media, brand and customer activity work together to drive both brand growth and commercial performance.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, providing strategic direction while leading and developing specialist media and CRM teams.

Alongside media, you will provide strategic leadership across CRM and customer lifecycle marketing, ensuring customer communications, journeys and first-party data are effectively integrated into the wider brand strategy. You will also identify and develop external partnerships that can strengthen the brand and support key commercial priorities, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and protect the brand through integrated marketing strategies designed to deliver against agreed commercial, customer and brand KPIs.
  • Take a big-picture view of campaign direction, ensuring channels work cohesively and that tactical decisions support the wider marketing strategy.
  • Own the brand's media strategy, planning, buying and measurement, balancing proven channels with a test-and-learn approach to identify new opportunities.
  • Manage and develop the relationship with the media team, driving innovation, improved effectiveness and strong commercial returns from significant media investment.
  • Ensure media activity is effectively integrated with wider brand, campaign and customer activity.
  • Build strong relationships across the business to enable collaborative and coordinated decision-making across marketing, trading, customer, data and commercial teams.
  • Work closely with the marketing leadership team and counterparts across the wider brand portfolio to ensure brands operate with both cohesion and clear differentiation.
  • Identify and develop high-value external partnerships that support brand priorities, customer engagement and commercial objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership across CRM and customer lifecycle marketing, ensuring customer communications and journeys support the wider brand and commercial strategy.
  • Work closely with CRM specialists and platform owners to maximise the capabilities of existing technology and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement.
  • Partner with internal data teams to bring first-party data, customer insight and behavioural understanding into marketing activity and customer journeys.
  • Ensure customer communications are joined up across the funnel and throughout the wider customer lifecycle.
  • Lead, support and develop the media and CRM teams, creating a high-performing, collaborative and commercially focused environment.
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance, using insight and data to continually improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Act as a senior voice within the wider marketing function, influencing strategy and bringing a strong customer and commercial perspective to decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
