Real Response Media is a leading magazine publisher and digital media innovator in the cruise and aviation sectors. We are dedicated to providing insightful, high-impact content and solutions to the industries and clients we serve. This role will lead the marketing strategy for all B2B and B2C brands within the Real Response Media portfolio.

Job Purpose

We're looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies across our entire brand portfolio. You will manage a team, drive revenue growth, and provide high-level insights and data analysis to inform business decisions.

This is a key leadership position for a creative and results-driven professional who is passionate about digital marketing and team development. You'll have the autonomy to lead a new way of thinking and make a significant impact on our business's growth and market position.

Who You Are

  • A strategic leader with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • An expert in digital marketing with a deep understanding of multi-channel campaigns, data analysis, and emerging trends.
  • A strong team manager who inspires, mentors, and develops talent.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, self-starting, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with customer engagement/journey orchestration platforms (e.g., InsiderOne) is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of how to build, manage, and optimise customer journeys and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute an overarching, multi-channel marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Plan and manage brand marketing campaigns to drive audience growth, engagement, and traffic across all websites.
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing plans for multiple events across all brands, driving registrations, entries, ticket sales, and other key event KPIs.
  • Lead the adoption and ongoing optimisation of our marketing platform, InsiderOne, ensuring its effective use across all marketing channels.
  • Leverage our marketing platform to create segmented, data-driven customer journeys and email automations that support audience growth and commercial objectives.
  • Deliver and coordinate multiple client campaigns across all brands, including email marketing, SMS, deals pages, display advertising, and competitions, aligned to commercial agreements.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand brand reach and grow our audience.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure marketing efforts support client goals and deliverables.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives.
  • Lead the analysis of campaign performance, audience data, and market trends to provide strategic insights to the leadership team.
  • Implement advanced analytics tools (e.g., GA4) to track performance, understand customer behaviour, and optimise campaigns.
  • Provide regular, data-driven reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to develop the right reports and insights, equipping them to confidently liaise with partners and clients on campaign performance.

Team Leadership & Growth

Brand Management

  • Oversee the consistent brand messaging and creative direction across all marketing channels, including social media, newsletters, and website content.
  • Manage the development of creative assets in collaboration with internal or external design teams.
  • Drive initiatives to grow our magazine subscriptions and increase brand engagement across all platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and digital marketing innovations to maintain our competitive edge.
