Climate Action was founded in 2007 and has been working at the intersection of climate change policy, innovation, and finance.
We do this by creating complex, high-impact hybrid and digital events, engaging with our 140,000 members globally. We partner with an incredible ecosystem of 1,000 impact partners, UN Agencies, and private sector companies.

Role Purpose
The Senior Marketing Manager will contribute to the company's exciting growth and success by planning and executing our marketing activities.
About the Role
This is as much about execution as it is strategy, we're looking for an all-rounder, who has a proven track record in marketing B2B conferences and events, ideally with direct experience in marketing automation and digital. A deep understanding of climate change policy and sustainability is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and managing digital campaigns for B2B conferences and events within the climate/sustainability space, including email marketing strategies (with copywriting)
- Drive lead and demand generation initiatives, marketing automation, and social media strategy for the business and our portfolio of events
- Maintain and improve our marketing database
- Content creation and management, including copywriting and creative briefs
- Leadership in this role will include producing analytical and detailed reports to drive commercial decisions, devising strategy, and supporting junior members of the marketing team (through skills training and KPI management)

Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following (essential) qualities:
- Experience managing and executing paid campaigns
- Vast experience in marketing execution, with a majority of that experience in B2B conferences and events
- Digital marketing is your specialty, with an understanding of commercial content marketing
- Highly creative approach to get maximum results from small marketing budgets
- Delivery/outcome focused - An agile approach to working where you are able to review as you go, and adjust plans as you go to optimize results
- Candidates with an understanding of sustainability and/or climate change policy would be advantageous

- Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience, negotiable for the right candidate)
