About the company
An established international B2B events, conferences and digital content business, producing large scale in person and virtual events and supporting content across a broad range of industry sectors. This role sits within a fast growing division. The business is known internally for genuine career development within its marketing function, including international progression, and offers hybrid working from a well connected London office.
Role responsibilities
- Take full ownership of marketing for a portfolio of three events, planning and delivering each one end to end
- Drive delegate acquisition and sponsor led revenue through multi channel marketing aimed at senior digital, data, IT and operations professionals
- Prepare and execute the marketing plan for each event, from messaging and promotional copy to collateral and campaign delivery
- Work closely with production, sales and editorial colleagues, and alongside two other in house marketers, to deliver strong event results
- Proactively identify priorities and opportunities, operating independently as a senior, hands on member of the marketing team

Candidate background
- Proven B2B events or conference marketing experience at Senior Marketing Manager level, able to hit the ground running with minimal training
- A generalist marketer comfortable owning a broad remit across a defined portfolio of events end to end
- Strong self direction and initiative, identifying what needs doing rather than waiting to be told
- Commercially minded, with experience marketing events where sponsorship revenue is a significant focus
- Comfortable across digital marketing channels including email, social media and paid
