Senior Marketing Manager | Yorkshire - Hybrid | Multi-Channel Retailer

Salary up to £67k + Car Allowance and Benefits

A leading consumer-facing business is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to take a strategic lead across brand and performance marketing for one of its key retail brands. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for shaping the overall marketing strategy, driving customer growth and ensuring that activity across channels works together to deliver against commercial and brand objectives.

The role offers significant influence across the wider business, combining strategic ownership with hands-on responsibility for media, CRM, partnerships and customer journeys. The successful individual will work closely with internal teams, agencies and external partners to deliver ambitious, insight-led marketing campaigns.

The Role

The Senior Marketing Manager will take a big-picture view of the brand's marketing activity, ensuring campaigns and channels are aligned and working effectively together. They will own media strategy, buying and measurement, alongside CRM strategy and execution, while identifying new partnership opportunities and using customer data to improve journeys and experiences.

The role will also provide leadership and development for the media and CRM teams, requiring an individual who is commercially minded, highly collaborative and confident influencing stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and protect the brand through integrated marketing strategies designed to deliver against agreed commercial and brand KPIs.
  • Take ownership of the overall campaign direction, ensuring different marketing channels work cohesively and that tactical decisions support the wider strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships across the business to enable collaborative and coordinated decision-making.
  • Own media strategy, planning, buying and measurement, balancing proven channels with a test-and-learn approach to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead the relationship with the media team, driving innovation, performance improvements and greater effectiveness.
  • Identify and develop external partnerships that add value and support key brand priorities.
  • Own the CRM strategy through to execution across both marketing and customer service communications.
  • Work closely with CRM platform owners to maximise the capabilities of existing technology and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with internal data teams to bring first-party data and customer insight into marketing journeys and key customer touchpoints.
  • Develop customer journeys that work effectively across the full funnel and support the brand's strategic priorities.
  • Lead, support and develop the media and CRM teams, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment.
  • Monitor campaign and channel performance, using insight to continually improve marketing effectiveness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
