Tingdene Group is a diverse and growing business with interests spanning residential parks, holiday parks, and marinas. Each of our business areas has its own customers, opportunities, and priorities, but they are all connected by one thing: our people, our communities, and our ambition to deliver real value to our customers.
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to understand the complexities of a multi-faceted business and ultimately lead the direction of our marketing function.
This is a key senior position within Tingdene Group. You will take overall responsibility for the marketing department, leading and developing the marketing team, enhancing the brand while working closely with our operational and senior leadership teams across the Group.
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, creatively driven, and willing to challenge the status quo. This role is not simply delivering marketing plans, but generating ideas, understanding changing market trends, and providing new and innovative ways to connect with both our existing and potential customers.
Reporting as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of marketing across the Group, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and commercial performance while supporting the continued growth of the business.
What You'll Be Doing
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will:
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Group Marketing team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Set the strategic direction for marketing activity across the Group's portfolio of residential parks, holiday parks, and marinas.
- Drive brand development, ensuring a clear, consistent, and compelling brand presence across all business areas.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns that generate enquiries, leads, and sales while supporting occupancy and revenue targets.
- Work closely with operational teams to understand local priorities and deliver effective marketing solutions that support business objectives.
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring investment is focused on achieving measurable return and business impact.
- Champion data-driven decision-making, using customer insight, market trends, and performance metrics to continually improve marketing effectiveness.
- Oversee the Group's digital marketing activity, including websites, CRM, email marketing, social media, content, and digital advertising.
- Strengthen customer engagement and support initiatives that build thriving communities across the Tingdene Group portfolio.
- Identify new opportunities for cross-business collaboration, customer acquisition, and brand growth.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, external agencies, and suppliers.
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
