Senior Marketing Manager

An established and growing wealth management organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Marketing Manager to join its marketing function on a 16-month fixed-term contract.

This is a varied senior-level position offering the opportunity to take ownership of a wide range of marketing activity, from brand and PR through to campaigns, content, events, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of brand awareness and advertising activity, working alongside agencies and internal marketing teams.
  • Manage key external agency relationships, ensuring briefs are clear, work is delivered effectively, and projects remain on track.
  • Help shape creative concepts, campaign activity, and media approaches, using performance data and customer insight to inform future activity.
  • Support the development and execution of the organisation’s PR programme, ensuring messaging is consistent across audiences and channels.
  • Take responsibility for the organisation’s marketing collateral and client-facing materials, ensuring content remains relevant, accurate, and aligned with the brand.
  • Identify gaps in existing materials and develop new content and collateral where required, managing the process from initial idea through to final delivery.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the events programme, ensuring activity supports wider commercial and marketing objectives.
  • Partner with the Events Manager to establish priorities, manage resources, and ensure the overall events calendar delivers against business requirements.
  • Take ownership of key marketing campaigns and projects, adapting priorities according to changing business needs.
  • Manage and support two Marketing team members, providing coaching, direction, and ongoing development.
  • Maintain strong brand governance, ensuring marketing and event activity consistently reflects the organisation’s visual identity and tone.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution and repositioning of the brand, including working with external creative partners on new marketing assets.

  • Strong background in a Senior Marketing Manager or similar broad marketing position.
  • Experience spanning several marketing disciplines, ideally including brand, PR, events, content/copywriting, and campaigns.
  • Confident managing creative, PR, media, or other external agencies.
  • Previous experience of managing, mentoring, or developing marketing professionals.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of written and visual output.
  • Proficient across Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Previous experience within financial services, wealth management, or another regulated/professional services environment would be beneficial.
