Senior Marketing Manager – B2B SaaS

Fully remote | £50,000–£60,000 + up to 10% performance bonus | Monthly face-to-face meeting

YakChat is looking for a hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to take responsibility for the Marketing function in our growing B2B SaaS business.

This is not a role where you’ll simply execute someone else’s marketing plan. You’ll be the functional lead for Marketing, a member of the Leadership Team, and responsible for turning our business strategy and growth priorities into marketing activity that delivers measurable commercial results.

Within agreed company objectives and budget, you’ll have real autonomy to decide how Marketing should deliver its goals — from campaign priorities and channel mix to content, conversion, acquisition, and resource allocation.

About YakChat

YakChat brings business messaging into the applications employees already use, including Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Salesforce, and our own browser and mobile applications.

Our customers use YakChat to communicate with customers, patients, students, staff, and other external contacts using SMS, MMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and other business-messaging channels.

We’re profitable, established, and trusted by more than 1,200 companies globally. Our principal direct-market opportunity is currently in North America, particularly the US and Canada, alongside an international partner and Service Provider business.

What you’ll own

You’ll be responsible for the performance and day-to-day operation of Marketing, including:

  • Demand generation
  • SEO and organic acquisition
  • Paid acquisition
  • Website and landing-page conversion
  • Vertical and market campaigns
  • Salesforce and technology-ecosystem marketing
  • Partner and Service Provider marketing
  • Content, email, nurture, and social
  • Marketplaces
  • Customer reviews and reputation
  • Case studies, testimonials, and customer proof
  • Market authority and thought leadership
  • Product launches and go-to-market activity
  • Customer lifecycle and expansion marketing
  • Marketing analytics, attribution, CAC, and funnel conversion

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success and represent Marketing as a peer within the Leadership Team.

A leadership role — but still hands-on

This is not a corporate Head of Marketing role with a large team underneath you. You’ll need to be comfortable moving between strategy and execution.

One day you might be reviewing funnel performance and deciding where to invest. The next you could be improving a landing page, developing a campaign, briefing content, reviewing paid search, or preparing a product launch.

You’ll have access to AI, specialist resources, content support, freelancers, and external expertise where appropriate, but you’ll own the outcome.

AI is part of how we work

We’re deliberately building AI into the way Marketing operates. We use it for research, analysis, content development, Product Marketing, campaign preparation, competitive analysis, and workflow automation.

We’re looking for someone who sees AI as a way to increase the capacity and effectiveness of Marketing, while applying the judgement and quality control that still require an experienced marketer.

What we’re trying to achieve

Our objective is to build a predictable, repeatable marketing engine that generates qualified demand and contributes directly to new customer growth.

We want to understand:

  • Where qualified opportunities come from;
  • Which markets, campaigns, and channels work;
  • What converts;
  • What customers cost to acquire;
  • What contributes to new revenue;
  • And where we should invest next.

We also want YakChat to become a company organisations learn business messaging from, supported by useful educational content, customer evidence, independent reviews, and a stronger voice in the market.

About you

You’ll probably have around 5–8 years’ experience in B2B SaaS marketing and be ready to take ownership of a marketing function rather than just one part of it. You’ll ideally have strong hands-on experience across several of:

  • Sales alignment

You’ll be an exceptional written and verbal English communicator, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, commercially effective communication for a primarily English-speaking B2B audience.

Experience marketing to US or Canadian B2B buyers would be particularly useful. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Salesforce, telecommunications, UCaaS, business messaging, Healthcare, Education, marketplaces, or partner marketing would be useful but isn’t essential.

The person we’re looking for

You’ll be commercially minded.

  • You’ll care more about qualified opportunities, customers, revenue, conversion, and acquisition economics than impressions or content volume.
  • You’ll be comfortable making decisions.
  • You’ll be able to take a business objective, determine what Marketing needs to do, organise the work, execute it, measure the result, and improve it.
  • Most importantly, you’ll want genuine responsibility for building and running the Marketing function rather than waiting for someone else to tell you what to do.

Working arrangement

This is a fully remote role, with a face-to-face meeting once per month.

You’ll therefore need to be based somewhere that makes regular travel to these meetings practical.

How to apply

If you’re looking for a broad B2B SaaS marketing role where you can own the function, have a voice in the Leadership Team, work hands-on, and be measured on commercial outcomes, we’d like to hear from you.

To apply, email your CV and a short note explaining why the role interests you to hr@yakchat.com.
