Role Description
The Senior Marketing Manager, Events is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for Dockland Media Group’s trade shows and conferences. This role oversees event branding, campaign planning, and audience acquisition, including email, digital, and social media marketing, as well as partner and exhibitor promotion.

- Developing marketing plans and timelines
- Managing budgets
- Coordinating with sales and operations teams
- Briefing and reviewing creative assets
- Tracking performance against registration, engagement, and revenue targets
The Senior Marketing Manager also analyzes campaign metrics, optimizes tactics, and reports on results to leadership. This position plays a key role in shaping event positioning, enhancing attendee experience, and identifying new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event marketing, preferably for trade shows, conferences, or B2B events, with responsibility for end-to-end campaign management.
- Strong skills in digital marketing, including email marketing, social media, website content, and marketing automation platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies, including audience segmentation, messaging, and lead-generation programs.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting, using marketing and CRM tools to track performance, optimize campaigns, and support decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling marketing copy and stakeholder communications.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment.
- Comfort working with design and content teams to create event collateral, promotional materials, and digital assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in B2B media, events, or publishing is beneficial, as is familiarity with virtual and hybrid event formats.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining attention to detail.
