Senior Marketing Manager

Financial Service Company

£60,000 + Bonus and Benefits

5 Days a week in Central London

My client is mergers and acquisitions advisory firm with a difference. They are the only independent, employee owned mid-market M&A house with a fully integrated global offering, and they work with entrepreneurial UK business owners and investors across the UK and US to craft and deliver exactly the right deal for each company’s individual needs. Having recently launched their second region in North America, They are on the hunt for a top-notch digital marketer to join their London team and work closely with their Marketing Director across the UK and US regions, supporting them as they grow.

The role

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on digital, data, reporting and marketing operations. You’ll be responsible for keeping my clients day-to-day marketing activity running smoothly, understanding how it’s performing and helping them continually improve it. Their Marketing Director leads brand, creative, content, thought leadership, PR and communications. This role is deliberately complementary: They are looking for someone who loves the numbers, brings structure and rigour, and is brilliant at turning plans into action and actions into insights.

What you’ll be doing

Analytics & reporting

  • Own regular reporting across their website, LinkedIn and wider digital activity
  • Use GA4, Hubspot, LinkedIn analytics and other tools to track performance and understand what’s working across corporate and Partner channels
  • Maintain and improve dashboards, trackers and KPIs
  • Spot trends and opportunities and turn them into actionable recommendations

Website

  • Manage day-to-day CMS updates, including publishing, optimising and updating supplied copy, news, press coverage, team profiles and deal credentials
  • Monitor website and content performance, SEO and user behaviour
  • Implement agreed optimisations and coordinate technical changes with external suppliers
  • Create straightforward supporting assets using existing templates and brand guidelines

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Professional or financial services experience would be useful but isn’t essential.

You’ll suit this role if…

  • You’re naturally curious about what the numbers are telling you. If traffic changes, you want to know why; if one post significantly outperforms another, you want to understand what made the difference.
  • You’re organised, methodical and comfortable keeping plenty of moving parts on track.
  • You enjoy improving processes, spotting gaps and making things work better, but you’re equally happy rolling your sleeves up and getting the day-to-day work done.
  • Most importantly, you’ll enjoy being part of a small, ambitious marketing function where you can have a real impact as the firm grows.

Working at the firm

This is a full-time, office-based role in their St James’s, London office. You’ll work directly with the Marketing Director, with plenty of exposure to our Partners and wider team. They are an in-office business (reasonable accommodations excepted), and that’s an important part of how they work: collaborating closely, knowing what’s happening across the business and getting things done quickly.
