STK is The ONE Group’s global steakhouse brand
STK is The ONE Group’s global steakhouse brand - built on premium steak, a VIBE driven atmosphere and a genuine sense of occasion. Our European estate spans two London venues and a flagship in Milan, with further openings planned.
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to own marketing for Europe end to end: setting the strategy, then delivering it. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable writing a market plan and standing in the restaurant on a Friday night working out why the bar is quiet. You will be the senior marketing voice in the European business, translating global STK brand direction into local commercial results across three distinct venues in two countries.
You will lead a Social Media Manager as your one direct report, and a roster of specialist agencies across SEO, paid media and PR — holding all of them to a clear brief, a clear standard and a clear number. With a team of one, this is a role that does as well as directs: expect to write the plan, brief the agencies and get campaigns live yourself.
Strategy and planning
- Own the European marketing strategy for STK — defining positioning, target audiences, seasonal priorities and the commercial opportunities for each venue, and gaining alignment from the Managing Director, Europe and the VP of Marketing.
- Build and run the annual and quarterly marketing calendar across all three venues, covering brand campaigns, seasonal and cultural moments, events programming, private dining and group bookings, and trading-driven activity to support softer day-parts.
- Set the plan by venue, not by average. Strand, Stratford and Milan draw different guests for different reasons; each needs its own audience mix, channel weighting and offer strategy within one coherent brand.
- Own the European marketing budget — allocation across markets, channels and agencies, in-period tracking, and clear reporting on return.
- Report performance monthly to European and Group leadership: covers, spend per head, revenue by day-part and channel-attributed bookings, alongside brand and PR measures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Agency and partner management
- Lead the European agency roster across SEO, paid media and PR — briefing, onboarding, day-to-day management, performance review and, where needed, re-pitching or replacing.
- Set the brief and the KPIs. Each agency should be working to a written scope, an agreed set of measures and a shared calendar rather than an open-ended retainer.
- SEO: own organic visibility for the European venues — site content and structure, local and map listings, review profiles, and increasingly AI and answer-engine visibility for high-intent searches such as steakhouse, private dining and party bookings.
- Paid media: set channel strategy, budget splits and audience approach across paid search, paid social and any programmatic or partnership spend; hold the agency to booking-led performance rather than impressions.
- PR and influencer: drive a consistent flow of earned coverage across UK and Italian consumer, lifestyle, food and trade media; own launch and event moments, spokesperson and chef profiling, influencer and talent strategy, and issues handling with the Group communications lead.
- Run one calendar across agencies so SEO, paid, PR, CRM and social reinforce a single message in-market rather than running three separate plans.
- Manage commercial terms — scopes, contracts, invoicing and value-for-money reviews — with Finance and the Group procurement process.

Venue and commercial marketing
- Drive covers and revenue across lunch, pre-theatre, dinner, late night, weekend brunch and the bar, with specific plans for the periods that need volume.
- Grow private dining, events and group bookings in partnership with the sales and events team — corporate, agency, celebration and seasonal party business.
- Own the local marketing plan for each venue — neighbourhood partnerships, hotel and concierge relationships, theatre, sport and entertainment tie-ins, corporate outreach and footfall drivers relevant to each site.
- Work the floor. Be present in the venues regularly, know the general managers and their trading pressures, and make sure marketing promises match the guest experience delivered.
Brand, content and digital
- Act as guardian of the STK brand in Europe — tone, look, photography, menus, signage, collateral and in-venue assets — within global brand standards.
- Own the European content engine through the Social Media Manager — channel strategy, content calendar, photo and video shoots, community management and creator collaborations — produced to a standard that matches the price point.
- Own European CRM and guest communications in partnership with the Group digital team — email and app messaging, segmentation, reservation platform data and loyalty activity, in line with UK and EU data protection requirements.
