The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Growth Director and working closely with the founders and growth team, you will help shape the future of StudioXAG.

Leading the delivery of our marketing strategy, you’ll bring fresh thinking while driving forward an established plan, executing proactive and reactive initiatives that exceed business targets and fuel growth.

You'll create inspiring, commercially relevant content that resonates with our dream, desired audience.

Who exactly are we looking for?

We’re looking for a motivated, experienced Senior Marketing Manager who is comfortable collaborating with teams across the business. You will:

  • Be someone who is happy working at both strategic and hands-on levels
  • Bring innovative ideas to the table, continuously considering the future of the agency and potential improvements
  • Inspire the team, uniting everyone around an idea, goal, or campaign
  • Display a passion for creating compelling campaigns that build brand awareness
  • Have a track record of delivering commercial B2B marketing strategies

  • 7+ years experience in B2B marketing and communications, ideally within a design or production agency
  • Strong experience owning an integrated annual marketing strategy, from planning and prioritisation through to delivery and measurement
  • Strong editorial judgement and a clear understanding of what makes content distinctive, relevant, and worth publishing
  • Experience building and maintaining a consistent brand voice across multiple channels and audiences
  • Confident stakeholder-management skills, including working with senior leadership, creative teams, external partners, and subject-matter experts
  • Deep understanding of digital and social media platforms
  • Management experience, with both internal and external team members
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with close attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of the design and creative industries, their audiences, and the wider cultural and commercial landscape

Bonus: Experience with Hubspot (or a similar marketing CRM software) and Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute our annual marketing strategy
  • Own the marketing calendar and maintain a disciplined quality over quantity approach to campaigns, content, awards, press, and events
  • Create and post content and copy for social, press, awards, and publications
  • Own the strategy, planning, and delivery of external company events, from initial concept through to execution
  • Work with photographers and videographers to produce high-quality content for marketing and client purposes
  • Identify opportunities to build the profiles of the company and its C-suite through thought leadership, speaking opportunities, partnerships, and commentary
  • Manage the marketing budget, overseeing all spending within the department
  • Lead the marketing of our thought leadership through editorial content, campaigns, partnerships, and event promotion
  • Own & present monthly performance reports - assessing both marketing activity and commercial pipeline, recommending where activity should be increased, improved, or stopped
  • Manage external PR and SEO / AEO consultants, ensuring KPIs and scope are being met - constantly reviewing performance and ROI
  • Manage and mentor a part-time marketing coordinator, overseeing daily responsibilities while supporting their learning, confidence, and professional development

Location:

We currently work a hybrid model; 3 days a week from our East London studio in E10 and 2 flexible days. Our normal working hours are 9am - 6pm but flexible working hours and days are available.

£55-65,000 DOE.
