We’re Pentland Brands

A global family business behind some of the world’s most iconic active and lifestyle brands. We bring integrity, energy, and ambition to our work, setting high standards and striving to deliver great outcomes without ego.

Design football product built for quality, durability, and the real game.

At Mitre, product has to do more than look good. It has to perform wherever football is played, from grassroots pitches and training grounds to match days, cages, clubs, and competitive leagues. Every detail matters when the product is part of the game.

We are looking for a football obsessed marketeer

To come and join the Mitre team, as our Senior Brand Manager. You will be the driving force behind a global football brand, leading the delivery of the Mitre brand strategy, and taking full ownership of the Mitre brand calendar. Your role is to ensure that Mitre consistently shows up in the moments which matter, with relevance, authenticity, and impact, leveraging the brand’s unrivalled heritage, and ensuring that brand love remains just as strong, for the next generation of players and fans alike.

You will have your finger on the pulse of football culture and be able to translate our long-term brand ambition into bold, impactful activity which showcases Mitre’s authority within the football category. Working closely with the Head of Brand, you will play a leading role in defining the broader brand strategy and the key opportunities to focus upon.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner closely with the Head of Brand to shape and evolve Mitre’ long-term brand strategy.
  • Ownership of the Mitre brand calendar - ensuring the brand shows up in a consistent and compelling manner, across all key football, cultural, retail, and seasonal moments.
  • Lead the delivery of omnichannel brand campaigns that drive awareness, connection, and love for the brand.
  • Act as our brand guardian — ensuring our visual identity and tone of voice are implemented across all brand touchpoints.
  • Manage the brand’s relationship with agencies and other external partners.
  • Oversee brand guidelines, ensuring they evolve with the brand and are championed by internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead our collaboration and partnerships strategy, managing our relationship with key brand partners, and ensuring we activate those partnerships in a meaningful and culturally resonant manner.
  • Help shape and grow Mitre’s strategy for international expansion and broader category growth.
  • Inspire and collaborate across teams to bring big ideas to life, from concept to execution.
  • Line Manage the Assistant Marketing Manager – providing continual leadership, direction, and guidance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
