Senior Marketing Manager
Reuters Events is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across a portfolio of global conferences and premium content products. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Lead, this role will oversee a small marketing team and be responsible for driving audience growth, lead generation, and engagement among senior executive communities whilst developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives.
The Senior Marketing Manager will provide leadership and guidance across B2B events marketing activities, working cross-functionally with product, sales, partnerships, and operations teams to deliver high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that drive business growth and strengthen Reuters Events' competitive market position.
About the Role
As a Senior Marketing Manager at Thomson Reuters, you will:
- Lead and manage a small marketing team, providing strategic direction, performance coaching, and development opportunities to drive excellence and business outcomes.
- Develop marketing strategies and roadmaps for Reuters Events conference portfolio and content products, aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Oversee the planning and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, content, paid media, partnerships, events, and social channels.
- Drive delegate acquisition, audience growth, and lead generation through targeted, data-driven go-to-market strategies and demand generation initiatives.
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to reach and engage senior executive audiences across key industry sectors.
- Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with channels, media partners, and agencies to expand reach and optimize customer acquisition costs.
- Monitor, analyse, and optimize campaign performance using advanced analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Salesforce, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Establish and track marketing KPIs and success metrics; provide strategic reporting and insight to senior stakeholders on campaign performance and market trends.
- Collaborate strategically with sales, product, content, and operations teams to ensure marketing alignment with commercial strategy and successful campaign execution.
- Oversee database strategy, audience segmentation, and targeted outreach initiatives to maximize lead quality and conversion.
- Ensure strong brand positioning and consistent messaging across all marketing activity and customer touchpoints.
- Manage marketing budget and resources effectively, demonstrating ROI and commercial accountability across all initiatives.
About You
To be a Senior Marketing Manager, you will likely have:
- Significant proven experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies within B2B events, media, or professional services sector.
- Track record of successfully delivering integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results.
- Demonstrated expertise in B2B events marketing, including campaign planning, audience development, and lead generation.
- Proven experience managing teams and providing strategic leadership in a marketing context.
- Experience marketing to senior executive and C-level audiences with the ability to communicate effectively at senior levels.
- Strong data and analytics capability; ability to use reporting tools (Google Analytics, Salesforce, CRM systems) to evaluate performance and drive optimization.
- Confident negotiator with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across internal and external partners.
- Highly organized with excellent project management capability; ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously.
- Resilient, results-focused, and commercially aware with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

- Experience marketing to senior executive or C-level audiences.
