The Role

THIS ROLE IS A 16 MONTH FTC ROLE

The Senior Marketing Manager is a generalist Marketing role with line management responsibility of the Digital Marketing Manager & Events Manager.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be working with the Digital Marketing Manager and an external agency to develop the Wealth Management firm’s brand advertising campaign. Review and develop ideas for the creative and for the media planning strategy. Work with external agency, third parties and Digital Marketing Manager on reporting, customer journey mapping on the website and conversions.

The Senior Marketing Manager will work with Head of Marketing to deliver the Wealth Management firm’s PR strategy for all target audiences.

The Senior Marketing Manager will take ownership of the Wealth Management firm’s marketing materials and client literature. Manage regular updates to existing materials, working closely with the Marketing Executive and relevant stakeholders across the business to coordinate changes, approvals, design and production. This role requires strong Copywriting skills.

The Senior Marketing Manager will take strategic ownership of the Events programme, working with the Events Manager to maintain oversight of the overall programme and ensuring it is aligned with the Wealth Management firm’s marketing strategy. Oversee resourcing at an Events programme level, working with the Events Manager to identify where support from other members of the Marketing team or additional resources may be required, rather than being involved in the day-to-day delivery of each event.

The Senior Marketing Manager will take responsibility for ad hoc projects and Marketing campaigns depending on critical business needs.

The Senior Marketing Manager will act as brand guardian, ensuring that brand and communications guidelines are maintained across marketing and event-related assets. Support on the implementation of the company-wide brand repositioning project.

The Candidate

  • Proven experience as a generalist Senior Marketing Manager, including event experience, project management experience, copywriting and experience in managing external agencies.
  • Must have Financial Services or Professional Services Marketing experience – ability to understand the Private Client environment.
  • Experience managing or supervising other team members who are at Management level - essential
  • Confidence to manage business stakeholders, strong communication skill set is required.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
