Location: Central London, hybrid, with regular venue presence Contract: Full-time, permanent Travel: Regular travel within Europe Reports to: Managing Director, Europe Team: One direct report, plus external agencies across paid media, SEO and PR

About the role

One of our premium hospitality clients in Central London is looking for a commercially focused, hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing across its European venues.

This is a broad leadership role combining strategy with delivery. You will own the European marketing plan, manage budgets and agency partners, lead social media and content, and work closely with venue teams to drive bookings, revenue, and brand awareness.

The successful candidate will understand that hospitality marketing happens both behind a screen and inside the venues. You should be equally comfortable developing a strategy, reviewing campaign performance, and working with operational teams to understand what is happening on the ground.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and commercial performance

  • Own the European marketing strategy, including positioning, target audiences, seasonal priorities, and venue-specific opportunities.
  • Build and manage the annual and quarterly marketing calendar across the European portfolio.
  • Develop tailored plans for each venue and market while maintaining a consistent overall brand direction.
  • Own the European marketing budget, including channel allocation, agency costs, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Report regularly on commercial results, including bookings, revenue, customer spend, day-part performance, and return on marketing investment.
  • Develop targeted campaigns to drive quieter trading periods and grow key revenue streams.

Agency and channel management

  • Lead external agencies across paid media, SEO, and PR, including briefing, performance management, and commercial reviews.
  • Set clear scopes, objectives, and key performance indicators for every agency and channel.
  • Oversee paid search and paid social strategy, budgets, audience targeting, and booking-led performance.
  • Manage organic search visibility, local listings, review platforms, and high-intent search activity.
  • Coordinate PR, influencer, and partnership activity across relevant hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer media.
  • Ensure paid media, SEO, PR, CRM, and social media work together within one coordinated marketing calendar.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Build local marketing plans using relevant partnerships, corporate outreach, hotels, concierges, cultural organizations, and local businesses.
  • Maintain a regular presence within the venues and build strong relationships with general managers and operational teams.
  • Ensure marketing activity accurately reflects the experience delivered to guests.

Brand, content, and digital

  • Maintain consistent brand standards across campaigns, photography, video, menus, signage, digital platforms, and in-venue materials.
  • Lead the social media and content strategy through the Social Media Manager.
  • Oversee content calendars, photo and video shoots, community management, and creator collaborations.
  • Manage customer communications, CRM activity, segmentation, and reservation-platform data in line with UK and European data protection requirements.

  • Adapt campaigns and content to reflect local audiences, behaviors, and commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with venue teams and international marketing stakeholders.
  • Travel regularly within Europe and support the marketing of future openings as the portfolio grows.

Team leadership

  • Line manage and develop the Social Media Manager, setting priorities, objectives, and standards across multiple venues.
  • Ensure social media contributes to the same commercial goals as paid media, SEO, PR, and CRM.
  • Act as the senior marketing partner to European operations.
  • Brief and support venue teams so campaigns are understood and executed effectively.
