👤 Reporting to our VP of Go-to-Market & Growth
⏳ 11-12 Month maternity cover contract
We are looking for a practical, commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager with experience operating B2B marketing in the US to join us on a maternity-cover contract.
This role will focus on helping us win and grow high-value US accounts. You will work closely with our Go-to-Market team to create and deliver focused account-based marketing activity that supports our sales priorities.
You will also provide light-touch leadership to our Marketing and Events team, keeping the day-to-day work moving, helping people prioritise, and making sure activity is delivered well.
🛠️ What you'll be doing
You’ll be responsible for:
- Create and deliver focused marketing plans for priority US accounts, working closely with Sales and Go-to-Market leadership.
- Build and run account-based marketing activity that supports relationship-building and long, complex sales cycles.
- Turn commercial priorities into practical campaigns, content, sales materials and activity that help Sales open doors and progress opportunities.
- Work with the wider team to ensure Marketing activity is focused on the accounts, sectors and opportunities that matter most.
- Support the delivery of events already planned for Q1, working with the team to make sure event activity supports commercial goals and follow-up.
- Keep the Marketing and Events team aligned on priorities, deadlines and delivery, while providing support and direction where needed.
- Work with agencies and external partners when required.
- Track activity, learn what is working and adapt plans quickly.
💭 You might be the kind of person we’re looking for if...
- You enjoy turning commercial priorities into focused, practical marketing activity.
- You are comfortable working across the UK and US, partnering closely with Sales and adapting your approach for different accounts and markets.
- You like being hands-on: bringing people together, making sensible decisions and keeping work moving in an evolving environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Proven experience delivering B2B marketing across both the UK and US markets. You will understand how to adapt account-based marketing, campaigns and event activity for different buyers, sales teams and market conditions.
- Experience supporting enterprise sales, especially where deals involve multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
- Practical account-based marketing experience, ideally focused on a small number of high-value accounts.
- A track record of creating and delivering marketing activity that has helped Sales build relationships and progress opportunities.
- Experience working in a scale-up or fast-moving business where not every process is already in place.
- Confidence working closely with Sales and senior commercial stakeholders.
- Experience managing or supporting a small marketing team.
- Events experience would be useful, particularly supporting B2B events as part of an account or sales plan.
🌱 You’ll thrive here if...
- You are comfortable getting on with the work, making sensible decisions and helping others move quickly.
- You do not need everything to be perfectly defined before you start. You can take a clear commercial goal, work out a practical plan and bring the right people together to deliver it.
- This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys building momentum, working closely with a commercial team and making a visible difference.
