We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager on a permanent, full-time basis.
We are committed to improving diversity and inclusion across our organisation. Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and the Global Majority are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single specification. If you’re excited about the role but your experience or qualifications don’t perfectly align, we encourage you to apply anyway. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups such as the global majority, LGBTQA+, those from a working-class background, those with a disability and neurodiverse conditions.
The role:
Working closely and collaboratively with the Head of Campaigns and the other Senior Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing Manager will develop, implement and manage effective marketing strategies and innovative campaigns for Shakespeare’s Globe’s full offering, including education and learning, theatre and performance, guided tours and cultural tourism, retail, membership and catering. They will also help drive the season marketing and the strategic direction of marketing at Shakespeare’s Globe.
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead on specific campaigns - from creative planning and effective implementation to insightful evaluation - to increase engagement with Shakespeare’s Globe’s work and drive sales, delivering innovative content and impactful marketing activity that responds to shared revenue and audience targets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
