Chorley Building Society - Senior Marketing Manager Opportunity

Chorley Building Society has an exciting new opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager with significant financial services experience to lead our day-to-day marketing activity and champion our brand across all channels. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll turn commercial priorities into clear effective plans that deliver great outcomes for our members and intermediaries.

This is a hands-on leadership role, blending strategy with operational excellence. You’ll oversee design, campaigns, events, sponsorships, content, member insight, and agency management – ensuring everything we deliver is coherent, compliant, and confidently represents the Society.

It is not necessary to live in the North West as we operate a hybrid working policy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Deliver and evolve the Society’s marketing strategy and plans across retail savings, mortgages, and mortgage intermediaries
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns that support growth and member engagement
  • Create high quality visual assets
  • Lead intermediary marketing with targeted content and broker-focused materials
  • Produce engaging content that meets Consumer Duty requirements
  • Use member insight and performance data to support decision making and optimise marketing spend
  • Build a strong relationship with the Society’s marketing agency and oversee their delivery of our digital marketing activity
  • Actively contribute to the Society’s Product & Treasury Committee

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
